This was my first time using polymer clay, I made earrings and so far they’ve turned out wonderful. Perfect colors, very bright and eye catching. Super lightweight! I received many compliments while wearing the earrings. I baked at 275 for 20 minutes in a glass dish and covered with a dome of tinfoil. The last thing I used after baking was the sculpey glaze gloss (highly recommend if you want a professional finish) The clay is really easy to mold, if it hardens I suggest heating it up with a hairdryer in your hand and then rolling it around. Unless of course you naturally have heated hands or a hot house then you’ll want to cool it down in the fridge for a few minutes because it will be like play dough (both instances happened and these methods worked) good luck! ... MoreThis was my first time using polymer clay, I made earrings and so far they’ve turned out wonderful. I'm absolutely blown away by how amazing Sculpey is!

I have been sculpting animals, people and whole settings for years, and the best clay I have used so far is sculpey III polymer clay! I do not like to paint, but I do like to do colorful details (most of my sculptures are of horses and their harness) and this clay allows me to create those details with clay instead. I will warn you that if you leave the website with a full cart and do not return to order soon the website will delete your cart.

Cute Color and Easy to Work With
23 December 2022

I bought this several months ago because I needed an alternative color to the discontinued hot pink. Sculpey customer service recommended that I try candy pink. It is not as bright, however, it is a beautiful pink that I have used a lot. I have also learned that I can combine candy pink with other colors to get very close to the original hot pink. A very versatile color that I will definitely be back for more.

Glow in the Dark for Children
8 June 2021

Sculpey III clay. Wonderful things can be created with this brand. I love the fact it glows in the dark, I've made a set of earrings with moons and stars using Sculpey III Glow in the Dark. I'd have given this 5 stars, reason I didn't is because Sculpey clay, specifically this particular brand is soo soft, it picks up imperfections so easily during the sculpting process. It takes more time and effort to sculpt with this product than it does with any other Sculpey colors. Its perfect for children but for serious sculptures, it takes a LOT of time and patience to create something without those imperfections. The other issue I have is that you can't cane with this product it is so soft. Like creating a moon cane or glow in the dark flower cane, it will not be firm ... MoreSculpey III clay. Love working with it
25 April 2023

I love working with sculpey III, it is firm enough to be able to graps without losing it's shape or the details and soft enough to mold small details. It blends super easy if you use silicone tools to smooth it out. I've tried other polymer clays for my projects, but as soon as I try to build details on another area I accidentally end up squishing the details I had previously worked on and this doesn't happen with sculpey III.It takes color quite well, I prefer baking then coloring using acrylics and soft pastels to give a smoother blend.

Mostly really good
27 April 2023

The only reason this didn't get 5 stars is because I have gotten 2 packages that were just duds. Most of the time this clay is great to work with; I can do lots of fun things with it, and the colors blend together wonderfully. But twice now I have gotten a package where the clay is dry and crumbly and no matter what I have tried to do to revive it (adding plasticizer, etc.) I just couldn't get it to come together into useable clay.

My crab thanks you!
3 June 2022

I have a crab figurine that had two broken legs on it somehow. I never did find the pieces so I couldn't use Superglue and fix it that way. I used two very small pieces and worked it until it was the shape of the claw legs and then baked it. It came out perfectly so I glued those pieces on and painted them the same color as my ceramic crab. You can't even hardly tell the difference! Great stuff!

My favorite!!
27 April 2023

I used this last night and it is the best clay I have used. I am fairly new to this craft, yet I have used several different brands of clay already. This is by far the nicest clay I have ever worked with. It did not take much conditioning, it didn't make my hands sore like others I have used. Some of the different brands are just miserable, and even after adding a bit of oil to condition, I ended up throwing it out. But this Sculpey III is a dream to work with!! And the pearl sheen of this particular one is so expensive looking and beautiful even after baking. When in doubt, alway go with Sculpey III, you can't go wrong.

My go to choice for polymer clay
4 January 2023

Im pretty new to clay and was wanting to try out various types. Overall, I landed on this clay (along with sculpey premo) being the all around best clay for me to use. Its very easy to mix them together and create new colors so the possiblities are endless with what you can create. I will say that you'll probably end up buying more if your trying to create something you havent created before (due to possibly messing up a few times), so just keep that in mind! Sculpey clay is definitely my go to choice for polymer clay now!
