Sculpey III Polymer Clay Multipack 1oz 12/Pkg Brights

This variety pack has so many colors. It is a small amount but enough for small crafts, such as beads, small sculptures, anything really. I like the fact that this clay is oven bake so it won't harden when left out, not until you are ready for it to get hard and have put it into the oven. Once it is baked and hardened it looks great and stays in its shape that you bake it in. I also love using the plain white in this brand as well, and then just painting it whatever colors you want after it has been baked. I love this stuff, the only thing I would change about it if I could would be that it does leave a weird residue on your hands while molding the clay. It's all pretty easy for anyone to use even children, my kids do all the time. So much fun for the entire family to do together.

Firstly, as someone who has used clay for a number of years- Sculpey is my go to brand. The softest clay needing minimal conditioning it makes the entire process a lot easier and less straining on your hands. When I first started with clay I started out with Sculpey III but soon found it to be quite brittle even after being baked completely which wasn’t quite compatible with what I was primarily using it for (jewellery). In regards to pricing and skill level I highly recommend Sculpey three for affordability and for those who are only just getting into working with polymer clay. I have since moved onto Sculpey premo and soufflé which are both a lot more durable and better quality after being baked.

Amazing! Blown Away!

So, I got Sculpey I immediately started claying when I got home and I was amazed by how it felt, it was (and still is) soft and easy to work with, my all my old clay was hard and cracked if you bent it (Sculpey does not crack) when I was done I baked it and the colours still stayed the exact same and it did not crack at all (but if it does you can mix Sculpey liquid clay with a Sculpey III and you can just smooth it over the crack and re-bake it), also not only did it not crack it also did not melt or sink. Cute Color and Easy to Work With

I bought this several months ago because I needed an alternative color to the discontinued hot pink. Sculpey customer service recommended that I try candy pink. It is not as bright, however, it is a beautiful pink that I have used a lot. I have also learned that I can combine candy pink with other colors to get very close to the original hot pink. A very versatile color that I will definitely be back for more.

Great way to introduce folks to claying!

I wanted to introduce friends to polymer clay. I held a small peer tutorial and wanted to give them the opportunity to be creative. Nothing provided them more creativity than a variety of colors. This set was perfect. I did not have to purchase 30 blocks! It was a great set for folks to be introduced to the magic of claying!

Love working with it

I love working with sculpey III, it is firm enough to be able to graps without losing it's shape or the details and soft enough to mold small details. It blends super easy if you use silicone tools to smooth it out. I've tried other polymer clays for my projects, but as soon as I try to build details on another area I accidentally end up squishing the details I had previously worked on and this doesn't happen with sculpey III.It takes color quite well, I prefer baking then coloring using acrylics and soft pastels to give a smoother blend.

My favorite!!

I used this last night and it is the best clay I have used. I am fairly new to this craft, yet I have used several different brands of clay already. This is by far the nicest clay I have ever worked with. It did not take much conditioning, it didn't make my hands sore like others I have used. Some of the different brands are just miserable, and even after adding a bit of oil to condition, I ended up throwing it out. But this Sculpey III is a dream to work with!! And the pearl sheen of this particular one is so expensive looking and beautiful even after baking. When in doubt, alway go with Sculpey III, you can't go wrong.

Perfect for trying a variety of colors on a budget

This is a great sampler pack of fun bright colors! I wish these were available when I was a kid because I was somewhat limited on my color choices as I could never manage to convince my parents to buy me nearly every color in existence; but now my daughter (and I) can try out tons of different colors without spending much, then go pack and get larger packs of our favorite colors to work with. This was part of a whole polymer clay set up we gifted my daughter for her 7th birthday and she said it could’ve been her only gift that she received and she would’ve been thrilled!

Wonderful clay!

I was given a multi pack of Sculpey III for Christmas, and used it yesterday for the first time with my 6yo granddaughter to make dishes and a piece to go on my flower pot. It was wonderful to use and was soft enough for both of us to use easily. The only thing I noticed was that although each colour of clay was seperately wrapped in plastic, they didn't have any indication on them to tell me which colour of clay we were using. Although the box had the names and numbers of each of the pieces of clay, the packs themselves had no indication to show me which clay I was using. For example, there are two white clays in the pack, so which one is the translucent clay? There is no way to know! And that annoyed me. good clay, not great for small details

First time using Sculpey! This is a good firm clay, not great for tiny details but great for larger figures. if you blend well enough, you can attach tiny details to a sculpture, though the thinner details might be more fragile than other clays (i had some smaller details fall off my sculpture after baking in the oven, which hasn't happened with other clays--you just have to blend a bit more with this one!). love the feel of this clay--very easy to sculpt with!
