Sculpted by Aimee Second Skin Foundation - Dewy Finish is a liquid mineral foundation ith nourishing ingredients. This medium foundation is completely buildable and leaves skin with a gorgeous, radiant finish. Why you need it:Sculpted by Aimee Connolly Second Skin Foundation - Dewy Finish hydrates and illuminates skin, while protecting it with SPF 50. It feels fresh and lightweight on skin but still gives medium coverage, evening out your skin tone with a dewy glow. Sculpted by Aimee foundation is packed with nourishing ingredients including the hero hydrator, Hyaluronic Acid, which can hold to 1,000 times its weight in water. Centella Asiatica (Gotu Kola) is known for its anti-oxidant properties which help to defend skin from environmental stresses while Hydrolyzed Pea Protein has hydrating and collagen-boosting effects. to pump for a long time to initially get the product out. I did think it was broken until I read the reviews so don’t think it’s faulty if it takes a while to get product out. The tube
will shrink a lot once you get it working but that’s perfectly normal... Show more

I've had 4 or 5 products from Sculpted by Aimee in the past and been generally impressed by the brand so took a chance on this very good value Dewy Skin Foundation Duo. Whether the 4.0 Medium is exactly the right shade for me I'm not sure but the colour is forgiving - and I think it'll be good for me for summer and beyond. My partner said he thought my skin was looking good - which is quite something.I'd used Sculpted Second Skin's matte finish foundation in the same shade and been quite happy with it - but the Dewy Skin version surpasses it in my view and makes skin look hydrated, fresher - younger. Only one of the other products I used was an Aimee Connolly product, a cream bronzer.This foundation applies easily - I used a brush but you could use a damp sponge or your fingers. As the basis for a full face complete look, I'm most impressed by Dewy Skin. As to the 32ml tube, it works a little differently to many similar tubes. You need to keep repeatedly squeezing it until the product comes out as it contains air put in at time of filling. So you'll find the tube 'deflates' noticeably once the foundation starts coming out at the tip. A good thing, this will instantly let you see whether a tube of Sculpted foundation is new and unused. In every way, Dewy Skin is a great foundation - an instant rejuvenator even for more mature skin like mine. I'd recommend it.... Show more

I went for two shades 2.5 fair plus and 3.0 light. Both work for me. 2.5 is my 'go to' shade, which will see me through the majority of the year. 3.0 is slightly darker, and works for me in the summer, when the rest of my body has picked up a bit of colour from the sun.Foundation is so hard to get right - I've tried a lot!!! I love it that QVC enables us to try out these products. I have a 'cool' base, in that I go red in the sun & prefer gold tones to silver tones. It looked quite heavy to me when I first dotted it on my face, but once spread to cover the face it blends really well - no 'tide mark' around the edges! For me it lasts all day (I do not have oily skin). I do add a light dusting of translucent powder to 'set' the foundation in place. It's not shiny on me (perhaps because of the powder) but shiny isn't really a look I'm after. It does make my skin look healthy and is not cakey. The Beauty Base is absolutely amazing.Its a primer and SPF. My face feels so moisturised and soft and it gives you a healthy glow.The foundation is very good if you like full coverage but I prefer to use a sheer coverage. I'm not sending it back, I will give it to my sister.This is the first time I have used this brand and I'm very impressed. I will order more items when needed.... Show more

Absolutely love this foundation - I’ve spent years trying different foundations and never quite found something that felt like it really ticked all the boxes. As my skin is dry and fair it’s quite hard to find something hydrating and also something that lasts. This went onto my skin SO nicely and lasted all day (even after a run) with no patches, no bits rubbing off and no dry clinging to skin. It made me feel glowy and I loved the level of coverage, felt like full coverage but without being too cakey or too full on... Show more

My original foundation is no longer available, and I have struggled to find a match.I bought Second Skin in shade 3.8, and it's absolutely perfect. A little goes a long way. It was the added bonus of having both SPF, and is a Leaping Bunny cruelty free product. When used with primer, it lasts all day, and doesn't settle into creases. It's very reasonably priced, considering that you don't have to apply an SPF as well.... Show more

I absolutely love this foundation. I ordered three of these duo sets in different colours as the value is immense and I wanted a have a Choice of shades for different seasons. I’m almost 47 and have dry and dehydrated skin yet this sits beautifully on me and I only use one pump! I was a big fan of Bareminerals however this is now getting as rare as hens teeth and the sculpted foundation appealed to me because it’s also mineral. I was medium beige in Bareminerals and range between 2.5 in winter, 3 when I’m using a bit of fake tan and 4.5 in summer. Please don’t stop bringing this it’s amazing xx... Show more

One of the worst foundations out there

I would give zero stars if I could. First of all, I wanted to love this foundation so much. The local Boots store didn't have the right shade, and I travelled to the next town to buy it. It feels heavy on the skin, while also creates s burning sensation. It looks patchy, my face looks tired. Sometimes, I have an OK foundation which I use until I finish the bottle, and never repurchase. But this one is so terrible, that I cannot use it so I wasted my money. And it isn't even a cheap foundation. I'm so disappointed.... Show more

I have been using this foundation now for over a month and I’m just completely in love with it! By far the best foundation I have ever used and I think I’ve tried every brand possible. I ordered the duo after a week of using this. It’s absolute genius, so easy to apply, feels like air on my skin, and the compliments I’ve recieved about how well I look and so healthy just make me so happy as I have chronic health issues and post menopausal skin. I normally always wear LG B&B or B&G but Aimee’s product is just the best ever. Beautiful, hydrating and the coverage is unbelievable. It doesn’t sit in my fine lines, cake, or wear off. I went for 3.0 and then dropped down to the 2.5, but mix them anyway depending on how my complexion looks. Also the brush that comes with ...
