Suitable for recording individual instruments, ensembles, or an entire orchestra, the sE8 omni has been engineered to provide a balanced, transparent, and natural sound as well as a detailed transient response. With two microphones matched specifically for consistency, you'll be able to capture a clear and accurate stereo image. The sE8 omni boasts inherently low self-noise for meeting the demands of high-resolution digital recording. It also accommodates a max SPL high enough to handle drums, and a dynamic range large enough to record triple-piano to triple-forte velocities accurately. Signal quality can be optimized via onboard switches for the pad and low-cut filter, each equipped with two settings other than flat.
