Sea to Summit Lightweight Dry Sack 2 Litre - Blue
A less expensive and less bulky alternative to traditional dry bags. You can squash these into spots ordinary heavy dry bags won't go. Fits into little corners of a sea kayak or light enough to take backpacking or adventure traveling. Suitable to keep contents dry in any wet situation where the bag is not submerged. PRODUCT DETAILS Lightweight 70D nylon with fully taped seams 10,000mm waterhead, lightweight durable nylon Polyurethane coating with white pigment for greater interior visibility Hypalon roll top closure D-ring attachment point at buckle Round base on all sizes Use backpacking, cycle touring, paddling, general boating Proper Use Any roll-top dry sack must be closed properly to ensure water can't get in. Begin by folding the Hypalon strip down first and be sure to have at least three rolls before closing the buckle. Avoid contact with sharp objects or subjecting the sack to high abrasion, as this could compromise the waterproof fabric. Like all manufacturers of roll-top, fabric dry sacks, Sea to Summit recommends that sensitive electronic devices be 'double bagged' (i.e. putting electronics inside one dry sack then placing this inside a second dry sack). For maximum protection, the use of a waterproof hard case should be considered. Not intended for situations where dry sack will be submerged under water.

...the receiving end of the clip disappeared during use. Based on another reviewer's comment, I assume one of the screws came out without my knowing it, and the clip came off during use in the boat or on shore and fell without me knowing until it was too late. (The bag is otherwise like-new.) IMO, the tension through the "fold-down band thing" (sorry) is too great and, therefore, the strain on the screws becomes too much. I am exchanging it and will try another.

I purchased this bag a couple of weeks ago, and have used it during my four-hour weekly kayak rides. It is big enough that it holds everything I take with me, including safety equipment, water and other necessities. It is waterproof and keeps everything nice and dry.

I wasn't sure about dry bags but I took the plunge (literally) on a recent kayak trip. I put my phone and wallet in the 1L size dry bag, squeezed most of the air out, then closed the bag following the instructions. The trip included pulling the boat over 15+ deadfall dams, covering myself, the boat, the bag and the rest of my gear with muck, mud and other detritus and - wait for it - when I finally got back my truck - and a more welcome sight I have never seen - both wallet and phone were bone dry and clean. I fully endorse this bag and have bought 2 more since for larger gear and double-bagging. FYI, the packaging recommends double-bagging sensitive electronics and I will be doing that in the future.

Purchased the 1L to hold my phone and keys when kayaking. They both fit, although just barely. I can't envision it holding much else other than very small personal items such as those. The material is a bit thin, however I'm not too concerned about that when going on a paddling excursion. Overall, solid dry bag. No complaints.
This sack stays compact if not needed, has seemingly durable buckles, and seems to be very durable material. This is from first impressions at this point. I’ll actually be using it to pack out a boned out deer or hog, but haven’t had the chance for that yet. I will update at that point.
I looked into a few dry sack companies before settling on Sea to Summit's Lightweight Dry Sack. The quality is noticeably higher and reviews consistently better. The 2L fits 6 pairs of ExOfficio bikini briefs, plus my travel towel. After hand washing underwear, I roll out excess water in the towel, then air dry. (In case that's helpful to anyone...) Because both underwear and towel need to be dry and separate from the rest of my gear, this sack works perfectly for my needs.I suggest you check the various size measurements (Small, XXL, etc.) and coordinate with your needs. The roll top and snap closure are easy and effective. This is an excellent dry bag!
I bought the smallest bag to keep a set of keys dry. It is perfect for the job. Because the bag is a lighter (presumably waterproof) cloth rather than thick rubber. It closes up to a very small size.I have not used it long enough to know anything about long term durability or how long it will stay waterproof.
Good and quality product, very sturdy and versatile. Great for travelling, camping, fishing ... I use mine to protect camera body from water and moisture when I'm at field. Just perfect small bag (it can be too small, check size chart).
These waterproof sealing bags are very useful. Reading, with different colors and sizes, perfect to hold separately and to easily locate in the backpack all the items and clothing that you wear when riding a trekking or bicycle holiday where to protect things from rainy weather is essential. The organization in the backpack is perfect and as it drains it can be further compressed to recover space. I have already bought different sizes and colors and are very satisfied. Trekkinn is very efficient as always for shipment and delivery.
I bought three in two sizes for my wife and I over two years ago. We’ve used them every summer since when we kayak. Two weeks ago I flipped my kayak in the ocean. It took almost 10 minutes to get to shore and the bags were fully submerged the entire time. Spare clothes, keys, phone and wallet all perfectly dry.
