Better than expected

This was better than I expected! I was a little thrown off that it didn’t have a zipper to get in and out of it, but figured I would try it and if I didn’t like it would return it. Well, I will be keeping it! Super comfy and since I got it a little larger, it was easy to get in and out of it. I felt like my sleeping bag was cleaner, and the no-zipper was nice to not sleep on it. I am one that rolls around when I sleep, but never felt restricted. Also love the little bag, even though it is a little hard to get back in. I have been mostly car camping but I may even throw this into my backpacking bag. Highly recommend.

The liner provides additional warmth that I have always needed on camping/backpacking trips. I tend to get cold sleeping. I didn't want to buy another sleeping bag, so this was a great way of getting some warmth. I am shorter than 6' but got the longer version based on a review I read. That was a helpful tip. It helps to have a little extra liner.

I was quite pleased the first time I used it. It separated my skin from the sticky feeling of the quilt, and I used it as a sleeping bag when the temperatures were too high for the quilt. At 6’, I’m also glad I got the wide and long version. I gave me lots of room to maneuver at night, and I could easily pull it up around my neck when it got chilly.

No more clammy sleeping bag feeling!
16 December 2020

This liner/sheet worked great in preventing that - kind of damp feeling I always get in my sleeping bags. Makes your sleep so much more comfortable. Material is very lightweight, silky sheet material - sleek, but not slick. The material does not stretch. The opening is at the top so you do have to slide into it. It folds down a little, so can stick your arm out, but not your leg. It could be a stand alone sleeping bag for very hot weather, but it is very lightweight - lighter than a regular bedsheet material. I bought a standard, but i recommend a long. Nevertheless it definitely upgrades your sleep.

Part of a perfect sleeping system

This liner is perfect for my needs. It adds just the right amount of extra warmth when needed and is compact and lightweight. I like the material as it doesn’t get stuck on my thermals to get me all tangled up in it. It’s my second liner. The first one served me well for over 8 years, but is finally wearing thin and starting to rip.

Better than expected. Ordered the large size to make it easy to get in and out. I tend to move my legs a lot while sleeping and this had plenty of room for that. It is light weight and lends a very light covering which is not really warm so much as a barrier between skin and air, Body heat escapes to make a down sleeping bag more effective or to have a cool effect on a hot night.

Sea to Summit blend sleepingbag liner

The Sea to Summit sleeping bag liner is typical of all their gear I have experienced to date, well designed, well made, and high performance. I prefer the blend- liner as I am hard on my stuff, and find the blend to hold together better, when the going gets tough. While not as silky smooth as..... well, silk, it is pretty close, still retaining the " cool on hot nights, warm on cold" of the silk. It is not as warm, on really cold nights as thick flannel or cotton, it'll do the job ( I've slept in it, in -15C temps, in my old Sawtooth sleeping bag) ,yet goes down to, and weighs nothing, it has literally been my constant companion for years, if I have my pack, my liner is with me too. My missus prefers the pure-silk one, she looks after her things, does not use them ...Β MoreThe Sea to Summit sleeping bag liner is typical of all their gear I have experienced to date, well designed, well made, and high performance. Excellent website, selection, check-out, and service, what more could you ask for ? How about ongoing sales, promotions, and free shipping on $49 bucks, or more, wow, a Canadian company that can ! Thanks to everyone there.

Worth it
22 October 2022

So glad I bought this (navy, regular length) liner. It is great when your sleeping bag is a little too warm for the environs and you need just something light to cover you. It's equally great for times when your sleeping bag isn't enough and you need something extra warm but breathable. It's also great when you need to protect your sleeping bag because there were no showers available and you aren't as clean as you'd like to be. So much easier cleaning and drying this than a whole bag. Also, it feels glamp-orous to slip into a silken cocoon at the end of a hard day on the trail.I would totally recommend.

Worth the price

I own a travel camper and was looking for a practical sleep system that would be comfortable, easily packed, and importantly, easy to clean while on the road. This is exactly what I was looking for.I expect this travel sheet will prove very useful during camper travel and foreign trips. The light and airy silk/cotton blend fabric looks and feels great, and the item is well constructed, with lots of room to spread out. Doing laundry while camping is always a hassle, so I am pleased that I'll be able to hand wash this in a sink and air dry it quickly. I also look forward to enjoying my own comfortable cocoon while traveling in regions where insects are a concern and accommodations are not optimal. I'm sorry I hesitated so long to buy this. I would definitely ...Β MoreI own a travel camper and was looking for a practical sleep system that would be comfortable, easily packed, and importantly, easy to clean while on the road. Perfect solution when wanting to cut pack weight or backpacking in hot climates. I don’t have much body fat and was perfect in this sac when it was high 60’s…. Needed to wear my hiking clothes with it when it got to mid 50’s. Taking this instead of a sleeping bag saves me ~1/2 a pound! Also comes with easy to use storage sac.
