Bought the XS for my 20L day pack. Fits well over the pack with extra room to fit a water bottle underneath. Elastic around the inside edge is tight so I think it'll stay on the bag well. Can also tighten it further, if needed. Came in an attached bag... shoved it back in easily enough. It's exactly what i was looking for. I think it'll do the trick!

This cover provides very good protection for your pack. I like the elastic and the bungee style closure at the top. Keeps everything nice and tight to the bag. It fits my 6400 ci pack fine. I have the L size. What I like best is how small this is when packed. So small and light there is no reason not to have it along. If I could add anything it would maybe be a built in caribeener so I can clip the packed up cover onto the outside of my bag when rain is forecasted.Great product.

This is the third Sea to Summit backpack rain cover I've purchased over the years - for my third backpack. The covers fully cover and fit securely over the pack. They are very effective against the rain. I will only buy Sea to Summit backpack covers.

Great pack cover, and I love the new colour this year! Being ultra-sil, it is a bit delicate so be careful about where you lay your pack down; my last one got a tear (totally my fault) which is why I'm purchasing a new one. But it's my second purchase so that should be an indication of how much I like it :-)
I purchased this pack cover for my 9 day hike on the West Coast Trail. Out of the 9 days the last 4 it poured rain. An atmospheric river is what the weather station calls it. This pack cover kept my backpack dry even through these west coast torrents. Great pack cover
I was gifted the large version which actually came in at 4.2 oz. not 4.6 as listed. It looks very well made and the material looks to be high quality. The only issue I have with it is, I think the drawcord and hardware are unnecessarily over-sized and heavy, in relation to the rest of the product. If it was made with the same size cord as the stuff sack, or even smaller, then I would consider it ultralight. In an ultralight setting I accomplish the minimum requirements with a trash compactor bag, at a much lower weight penalty, so in it's current form this will either get modified or chopped up to make something more useful. Now if you're not going ultralight, I'd say this is an excellent product. This is great for backpacking just be aware it is super thin (that’s why it’s so light). I was dumb and put it around a pack that had an ice axe and it punched right through. Nothing a little tape didn’t fix. It was extremely waterproof and my pack stayed dry through constant rain on Mt baker
I used this on a wet multi-day trek and everything stayed dry. Large size fitted my 80L pack well. It was a rough trail and material seems to stand up against abrasions well... It also stands up well against bird beaks. A few of us left our packs for a few hours to do a side track and a flock of Currawongs descended upon them looking for a snack. Other's pack covers were removed and torn but the Ultra-sil held up and the birds didn't access any of my trail food.
This rain protector was made of beautiful fabric in a gorgeous color and with a thoughtful drain in the bottom. But it was not for me.Please note, my main idea was not to use this for nature hiking, but rather in the urban jungle: I was hoping for a raincover that could double to enhance security from pickpockets when traveling to pickpocket intensive areas, for my everyday backpack. However it pretty much looked like a shower cap for my backpack, and I didn’t want anything that would be funny-looking. Plus I was concerned it could slip off.I do think that for any type of user, this rain cover could be improved with even a single strap that you could clip across the part of the backpack that rests against your back. This would help it stay on more securely.
Glad I brought this on my most recent hike of the west coast trail. I’ve made the mistake before where I thought I could avoid a pack cover but then the contents of my bag would be wet. Did what it was supposed to do, easy to use. Kinda heavy, but lighter than if my bag was soaking wet. Green colour was not as described in the photos, much darker in person.
