Sea to Summit Wilderness Wipes Compact (36 Pack)

These wipes are a great size. I use one for the 'top' and one for the 'bottom'. After using the 'top' one I wipe down the pants :) These towels don't disintegrate and crunch up when wiping oneself down. Excellent for remote area camping where water may be used for drinking only. Let the towels dry and, if fires are permitted, burn them and leave only ashes behind. Plastic packaging: Well, that must be taken home again and disposed of responsibly. "Leave only footprints."

Amazing for Mountain Bike trail Dust

I use these when I go mounting bike riding. The trails are dusty and scratchy where I live. When I get back to my car I wipe off the sweat mixed with dust(sometimes light scratches with blood) to feel slightly clean for the drive back home. They do an amazing job, I don’t smell of chemicals afterward, and they haven’t left me feeling sticky. Do yourself a favor and buy the big pack, like this one. If you plan your wiping method and order, you can easily get your legs, and arms clean with one wipe. I use 2 to get a second shot at cleaning. The pack is easy to open, I don’t store these in my car, and am able to finish the pack well before they dry out. I am able to use the pack easily, and i haven’t had them dry out yet. Off-grid shower solution

I was curious about these wipes and decided to give them a try as I was headed to an off-grid camping trip for a week. These were SO MUCH EASIER than going through the whole ordeal of heating up some water, using washcloths for soaping and then rinsing, and a towel for drying. All you have to do is wipe yourself in the advised order and let yourself air-dry for a few minutes and you are done. And I didn't really think it would be THAT easy, but it was! And I felt pretty darn clean afterwards . . . a must have if you can't get to a real shower. Went back and got more for next adventure, and some for my emergency pack. It contains aloe, which I have no problem with, but those with allergies to it will have to find another product.

Perfect (idea) for back country excursions

I usually don’t use most flushable wipes etc when outdoors due to chemicals and scents (for the user and environment) and the fact that they don’t actually break down … even if thrown in the “right” spot.I like the proposition here, still investigating all of the info.For now they are a pretty great “creature comfort” for the rare moments where you might need a wipe in the wild.Packaging is convenient, and for me it comes with the right amount. Stay Clean On The Mountain

I just returned from an 8 day trek to the summit of Mt. Kilimanjaro and these Sea to Summit wilderness wipes worked beautifully. I used a wipe for each day on the mountain after I returned to camp and went to change into my evening clothes. I just used it like a towel wiping down every part of my body and it helped me stay clean and fresh each day on the climb. If you are going to spend anytime in the backcountry and will not have access to a good warm shower, I highly recommend taking these to stay clean and reduce the body odor.

Thicker and larger than off the shelf wipes

Love these, they're easy on the skin, larger, and thicker than off the shelf wipes. You can take a backcountry bath only one of these no problem, the larger size may be better for a full wash but the small size packs down much easier and since they are so durable you can just fold them over and over again. Knowing that they're biodegradeable and that you're not just tossing more plastic in the trash to end up in our water supply gives me some peace of mind, which the packaging could be improved to be more sustainable though.

When a paper towel & a hand towel love each other

On a two month camping trip in multiple climates with very limited access to showers or large (enough) bodies of water, these Wilderness Wipes were crucial. I don't love getting into my tent much less my sleeping bag sweaty and dirty from the trail, and these wipes solved this problem easily. I bought them in both sizes, and used the smaller ones for my face neck and feet (after the face and neck were done, obvi), and the larger ones for a fully body wipe down. I have sensitive skin that wasn't at all irritated by the wipes and the smell was subtle and nice. What I like most about them is that they are thick and soft, like if a paper towel and a handtowel had a cute, outdoorsy baby, so they pick up a fair amount of grime without physically irritating my skin. Wipes of the Gods

These wipes are a heaven sent miracle for your booty. I was in the middle of a 20 mile hike when nature started screaming at me. There was no other option. The deed had to be done. Using the Wilderness Wipes was like wiping my bits with angel wings and rainbows. Words can’t describe the sweet relief and joyous comfort these wipes gave me!

Worthwhile to quickly freshen up on trail

I bought the Sea to Summit Wilderness Bath Wipes (compact) for longer backpacking trips in the summer, to freshen up my likely sweaty and dirty feet/ankles (and any other regions I think may benefit). While I know the old adage is to "Embrace the stink", I also know I will feel a whole lot better if I can take them on trail with me and use when absolutely necessary to afford me a comfortable night of sleep. I've had a chance to try one out so far at home after a strenuous hike, and they do seem to help feel fresher. The only downside is that I'll need to pack out all of the wipes I use (to follow LNT principles), and I'm unsure just how biodegradable these bath wipes are. I love these wipes, as well as the larger size. They are great for those times when you are camping and don't have access to a shower and need to freshen up!The scent is light and the ingredients are non-irritating to my sensitive skin.
