This is an excellent product to keep your aquarium free from harmful free ammonia. Recommend the seachem tester that sticks to the tank glass so you can monitor easily.

I personally found this product to work as it locks ammonia up to 72 hours. My city water tap ammonia reading usually is 0.50 and 0,25 NitritesI have used other water ager brands but they still showed ammonia. I also used ammonia remover zeolite from a different brand and that did not work for me either. So i switched to Seachem Amguard and no more ammoniareadings. I prefer this over Seachem Prime as it does not have any odour and it works instantly for meHowever i used a little bit over the recommended dose and i use air stone as most ammonia locking chemicals deprive oxygen in the water
