Took a week to get transferred from Head office to Penrose, with no comms from PBTech at all.Queried how much longer it would take - then magically "Oh - it's ready now!" a mere 1 hour after my email. Then multiple checks to make sure I wasn't a thief while in the store to pick it up followed by the clerk thumping it onto the counter to really seal the deal.Great hard drive though.

Spinning platters for storage, and plenty of it at a good price. Probably will buy again when I need to expand.

017B is the newest 7e10 at this time, replacing the 000A. Compared to the HC320 from WD, it makes less noise when running and does not have the knocking sound when idling.Being a CMR drive, this 7e10 is good with raiding, and large volume writes, although it will need a fan to cool it down if you plan to put it in a PC or HDD box.PB does not have the drive in the Seagate box, but the wrapping around it is relatively good.

got two of these (6TB) for 118Fr each, quite impressive pricing compared to the competition and even when compared to segate's own desktop and NAS grade HDDs.The only downside is the relatively higher noise output compared to desktop grade HDDs (which is to be expected), I'm now using them in a 2-bay NAS 3m away from me, they are definitely audible when the room is quiet, but I would not say they are more noisy than NAS drives, they might just have a different pitch.
Hi There, this hard drive type has been good, I had an issue with my sinology NAS using another type of HD but with this all problems had gone away, much recommended.
Although SSD is faster and getting cheaper, for extra storage you can't beat an HDD... Main "C" drive is best on SSD... but for video, photos and other large files, hdd is still the way to go, HDD has no problem with constant overwriting where ssd is a problem, and seagate drive has no problem... recommended for extra storage space.
I put 4 of these into our Synology RS3618xs+ to expand the current capacity. I had no trouble configuring them as the Synology dashboard made for quick setup. Took 6 hrs to initialize for usage but so far the drives are quick and no issues.
