After testing, the drive has max transfer speeds of 190MB/s, not the expected 250MB/s which the 8TB FIRECUDA drives have and what is stated on other websites. I had done a bit of research but nothing told me that it wasn't what I needed. I was looking for a playstation extension storage but this isn't compatible with any console luckily I have a computer that is quite happy with its new extension haha.

The Seagate 8TB USB 3.2 hub will not formate on a PS5 the PS 5 will not recognize a external hub error code on PS5 is hook up a 3.0, or higher hard drive. It will not work with a hard drive hub.

8Tb external. . . This holds soooooo many games. Very very happy.
I was expecting to be able to connect the drive to my macbook with an usb C cable, but in this case nothing happens, the drive doesn't even start to spin. So you need to use the good old usb 3.x cable (included) + your own usb A to usb C adapter to use this product with a recent mac.And small thing: the "Toolkit" tool from Seagate is not able to change the way the LEDs are used (RGB, etc.) under macOS, so it is also a small negative point.But otherwise the drive works fine as a Time Machine disk.
