Baggy…

Fairly comfortable socks that seem to keep my feet dry after a couple of wears. Time will tell if they continue to stay waterproof. My word of caution relates to the tight elastic
tops of the socks. I played golf early in the morning and left the socks on for a few hours afterward. When I took them off the rubber lining at the top of the socks had rubbed
away the skin on my lower legs, to such an extent that the wounds took a week to heal. I didn`t notice the irritation while they were on as the rubber stayed tight to my legs. I
suggest you take them off straight after your game or roll the tops down. Beware!

Highly recommend!

Nothing like the previous
17 March 2024
I have two pairs of sealskinz socks that I have been wearing for years through winter cycling months. I thought I'd restock but the socks I was send are thin, baggy and... nothing like the pairs I have. I will be returning them.... Show more

Not waterproof
9 June 2024
I purchased these socks after trying two other brands. I’ve used other seal skin products in the past, with good success. I wore these socks on a hike in the Zion National Park, Utah, on a hike called the Narrows. It is a 10 mile loop hike down a slot canyon in water ankle to waist deep. The socks leaked after the first 10 minutes or so. Perhaps constant immersion is not what these socks are designed for…however, they did keep my feet warm while full of water.... Show more

Poor sizing guide
15 June 2023
Sock is ok , the sizing guide is off though, I fit. 10 US shoe, so I ordered a Large size sock, and the sock is really baggy, I would have returned it but decided to try it out and it doesn’t work. I don’t have the original packaging and I wore it , so no returns plus I am in Hawaii and this go shipped from England. To expensive to return, if this was from Amazon it would have gone back, I have since found another brand from Amazon that fits much better and works well for my boat shoes.... Show more

Seal skinz socks
13 June 2020
Having previously owned a pair of socks for around 3 years, it was time for a new pair of waterproof socks. Sealskinz are quite pricey (cheapest I found was on this site) but they really are excellent, nothing worse than wet feet whilst out on a hike, and these Mixed with a decent pair of hiking boots really are market leading. The new socks have like a rubber seal along the top which stop water getting in through the top, aswell as very comfortable for the long hike. Would highly recommend. Also help preventing blistering as they act like an additional layer between foot, sock and boot. They last about 2-3 years of heavy walking, don’t wash them in the washing machine just clean them over the sink and let dry naturally.... Show more

Sealskinz?waterproof socks
29 August 2024
The rain arrived so I headed out with my waterproof coat, leggings. and the sealskinz socks with the hydrostop mid calf. It was about 16 degrees with light to moderate rain. After the first couple of kms my toes felt damp. Towards the end of the 9km walk, having gone through some puddles my feet felt damp. I wondered if it was sweat or water coming through. So the next day having dried out the socks I wore them in the 20 the degree heat for about 7km. My feet didn't feel damp from sweat. So to test them another way I filled the laundry tub with water, put them on my hands and dunked them in. My hands felt dry. Then I moved my hands around in them for a few minutes to replicate movement. The same amount of dampness returned as when I'd been walking in the rain. They never got more than damp inside even though sopping wet on the outside. It would be interesting to see whether waterproof shoes with standard socks and overtrou would stay drier. The sealskinz socks are very soft and comfortable underfoot. I will take note of how long that softness lasts. The soggy socks took over 24hrs to dry. I will continue to monitor their performance. Happy days :-)... Show more

Waterproof Warm Weather Mid Length Sock with Hydrostop Navy Blue / Grey / Red / S
14 July 2021
These really did work as described. On a colder day where your boots are completely soaked all day, the socks keep you dry. My only reservation is that despite being the warm weather option on a warmer hiking day my feet become soupy with sweat. On those days, I would say just wear normal socks and get wet feet from rivers, save these for when they work best. The size is on the larger end, but this wasn't an issue with good fitting boots around them.... Way too long

These were listed as mid length, in reality they are nearly an over the calf sock for me. They reach the widest part of my calf which unfortunately makes them quite uncomfortable. I’m 6’4” and would only recommend these for someone significantly taller.... Show more
