Have come to rely on this blend using it for everything, not just cacti and succulents. It hasn’t failed me yet. I buy primarily because of its drainage properties and have created different blends for different plants by incorporating amendments like perlite, pine bark mulch, peat moss etc. It’s a little pricier than a lot of premium potting mixes but it’s a reliable foundation.

I bought the succulent soil about a month ago and happy with this as my plants became healthier and became more colourful. I also used it for my propagation and it went well, the new plants look good.

I repotted all my succulents with this, and couldn't understand why they were completely drying out. This potting mix will not wet. It goes hard like a rock below the surface, and water just runs out down the inside of the pot. Terrible result. Will need to buy something else to repot everything again. Never again.
