Seasonic Focus GX ATX 3.0 850W Power Supply
Focus GX ATX 3 Series Following the well-established legacy of the Seasonic FOCUS Series, the FOCUS GX Series has been upgraded to comply with the ATX 3.1 and PCIe 5.1 standards. It offers a complete range of power supplies from 750W to 1000W, all within a compact 140mm depth. Each unit features a 135mm fan, a 12V-2 6 cable, and our new OptiSink technology. These units are designed to be perfect allies in powering the latest high-power graphics cards and processors available on the market. Digital Hybrid Fan Control Operating in Fanless, Silent, and Cooling modes, this power supply intelligently shifts to deliver the right amount of power to your components when needed. At a whisper-quiet 20 dB, it suppresses noise levels without any rise in temperature, simultaneously extending its lifespan by monitoring unnecessary rotations. Ice Cold with Improved OptiSink Seasonic have flipped their PCB layout, improved their surface mount technology and included a smaller MOSFET, meaning the space within is increased to allow for a larger heatsink and more generous airflow space. This means cooling is better than it ever has been, and reliability is extended. Moreover, it allows for more eco-friendly manufacturing, requiring less materials and production.

Replaced a PSU with a very loud fan with this. The unit would not power on my computer at all. So I put back the older PSU and am returning this one hopefully for a full refund. Not sure what happened, but my last remaining HDD is now no longer functioning since the attempted replacement.

I purchased this PSU for a new build I was doing for a high end gaming machine. Having high end GPU, CPU and other critical components I needed an efficient and reliable PSU.The unit its self is well built, the cables that come with it are top quality and look great to help with cable management and the unit operates flawlessly.I'd highly recommend this product. SeaSonic also has the best warranty on their products.

I needed a 850 watt gold supply and I had heard such great things about Seasonic that I decided to buy one.The first issue that I ran into was that the Seasonic power supply was much shorter than what I expected and the fan did not line up with the filter and cutout in my Antec 300 V2 case. I went ahead and installed the power supply with the fan facing downward anyway because I wanted the power supply to draw cool air instead of the warm air in the case. Now if you had a small case and was tight on space this smaller size would make it easier to install. The second issue that I encountered was that the ripple suppression capacitors at the end of the cables made them very stiff and difficult to install. The 8 pin CPU cable would not bend enough to route the cable behind the motherboard so I ended up running it on top which doesn't look as neat as when the cable is hidden behind. The power supply works just fine and the computer powered right up so all is good that ends well. The power supply is relatively quiet and seems to be well constructed. In the specs at B&H it says that the supply weighs over 6 pounds (which was really what swayed me to buy it), but in reality it weighs 3 1/2 pounds. Now if you weighed it with all of the cables included it may equal 6 pounds. However, the Corsair power supplies weigh about 3 1/2 pounds without the cables. II have built a lot of machines and based upon my experience installing this power supply this will probably be the last Seasonic power supply that I buy. There is nothing wrong with the power supply it is just that I have had significantly easier and more aesthetically pleasing installations with other vendors comparable power supplies.

Excellent power supply. Not too big, just right. Solidly built, and fully modular! Seasonic is hard to beat. Their power supplies are top notch. 850w leaves plenty of room for power hungry upgrades. My options are only limited by the space in my case. Highly recommended. I was lucky to find this PSU during the current shortage. The 10 year warranty for the Plus series made this purchase a no brainer. I would've sprung for the Platinum, but it wasn't in stock, but that's ok. Go ahead and grab this one.
Upgraded my video card then started having some issues with my 10+ year old Corsair 600 watt power supply.I love the modular cables and the fact that the hard drive power cables are a ribbon style cable. It makes it easy to have a clean and organized case.So far it has performed flawlessly and I have had no issues. And big thanks to B&H and their great service.
I like this PS. Bought it to replace a Corsair 750 in a mini ATX rack mounted case.It has plenty of modular connections. Very well built.
Nice & quiet power supply. They dropped the nice bags due to the pandemic, but otherwise as expected.
SeaSonic has always had a reputation for being a quality power supply manufacturer. They are in fact the OEM supplier for many other brands out there. This power supply is as easy to install as any other ATX power supply is, and the modular cables makes keeping cables tidy a bit easier, as you only have to plug in the ones you need to use and not have a an extra bundle laying in the bottom of your case unused. This power supply seems to do a fine job of supplying stable, clean power to my motherboard and other components which was to be expected. My only minor complaint is that the supplied modular cables on this PSU are on the short side. They'll be fine for most people with smaller or medium sized cases, but those of use that use full-tower or larger cases may run into issues where the cables simply won't reach where they need to go, so if you're in that position and still want to use this particular PSU, you may want to plan on buying some extension cables for the particular power connector types you'll need the extra reach for.One last thing to note, is that even though this is boxed and sold as a last generation PSU, (the latest generation does away with the capacitors in the cables and has slightly different logos on the PSU itself), what I received was the latest generation PSU with the last generation cables. Model numbers and serial numbers all match up to confirm this to be the case. So really you're getting the best of both worlds, the newest PSU with better in-PSU ripple control, as well as last generation cables with built-in capacitors to further reduce any ripple induced into the lines by other nearby electronic sources. In my book that's an unexpected but very pleasant win-win.
Bought this for my first time building a pc on my own and could not be happier about it. Silent, easy to use, and the modular aspect of it made cable management pretty easy. Pretty happy with this.
I just finished my most recent built after about a 5 year hiatus. Things have certainly changed for the better. The SeaSonic is so far functioning without a hitch. It is powering the I7 13700K CPU, Radeon 6750XT GPU and 32 GB of DDR5 memory on the ASUS Strix 760 F motherboard. The modular cables make for a clean install. The instructions are helpful since they recommend the best means for supplying the GPU. Excellent construction and a 10 year warranty. I recommend this power supply.
