Contains the older nostalgic stuff with a bunch of newer content as well. Great game. You can get it less than 10$ on the eshop most of the time. Definitely worth it for when you when free time and don’t want to get into a deep story game.

I purchased the “Sonic Mania” game for my Nintendo Switch several months ago. This is such a fun game and takes me back to my childhood when I played “Sonic” on my Sega Genesis. The game’s graphics are bright and colorful and there’s several challenging levels here to play. The music is pretty good too. I love Sega and Sonic- and I do recommend it to anyone who loves to play video games!

Amazing Game

Super fun game, gave me a huge nostalgia flashback. Has manybof the old levels but with really cool twists/mechanics to make them both nostalgic and refreshing! The new levels look amazing, the music is great.The people they hired to make this game did an amazing job. Sega actually hired people who made 'fan games' in the past come in and work on this. You can feel the heart put into this.

Excellent buy-up of a great game

'Tis a great game. I already have played the PC version, but I like it physically just as much regardless. I'm sure I'll enjoy the PS4 version as well.

Good Old School Fun

This is a great title, if you are new to the Sega mascots titles or a old hand at Sonic like myself.Bright, colourful graphics go hand in hand with intuitive, addictive gameplay. The game is spread over twelve levels, eight old ones revisited and revamped and four all new playable ones.With added bonus rounds and an all new chaos emerald game, this is a essential and good value title for gamers of all ages.

Grat features

Bought this for a Christmas present for my 4 year old son. He will love this for the game but also for the added extra. Case is very eye catching and comes with a small colouring book inside. This may have been in the description already but I hadn't noticed this when purchasing so was a present suprise and has made this gift that little but more perfect!

Great for a Grandson

My 4 year old grandson is into everything Sonic! I got this for him and all he does is play it every day. Although some levels are challenging for him, he gets his sisters help and continues on. Love this for him

Great game, not figured out multiplayer

Great game the kids love it and when they nag us to play because they get stuck, we kind of know what this one's about its very similar to the old sonic we've not yet figured out how to get it to work on multiplayer we presume we have to unlock that as there's question marks for different game parts. This sonic doesn't just have the springs and the tunnels to make you go faster it also has zip lines to travel accross the kids love it. It's basically one player unless you can figure out the multiplayer.

Nostalgia at its best!

Brought this for my boys, I used to play it when I was young and my youngest kept going on about sonic. Great game took them a bit of getting used to, still a good game, was fun trying to remember where all the secret bits were and also knowing more about a game than my boys for once. Also brought this whilst on sale so great value for money.

Sonic mania is amazing and you should buy it

I honest to god regret not getting the physical edition of this game when it came out. Sonic mania is master piece and I am willing to buy as many versions of it that are out there. Now onto package it came in pretty great shape! though beware the Nintendo switch case came with a piece of cardboard to hold the sleeve in place which was missing from mine so it all came falling out. not a big deal though and it's pretty easy to find spare cardboard to replace that. Overall it came in great shape and I recommend those hyper fans such as to get the physical edition of these games!
