Seiko 5 5 Automatic Men's Watch SNKL17K1

I ordered with total confidence am not disappointed; the shipping was fairly cheap, took only 5 days the packaging superb. The watch is authentic, br-new as guaranteed by CreationWatches; it arrived with the tag, still in wraps, even though it was manufactured 10 years ago. My only gripe is not understing why its SNKL15J1 counterpart has been offered on this site for much less.

I have bought many mechanical watches from Marc. This is my 2nd Seiko 5. And just like my last SNKL23 from Marc, this Seiko SNKL17 is yet another amazing value for a mechanical watch. The mix of a high polish bezel, with brushed and high polished case sparkles with wonderful contrast. Finishing is, to my eye, first rate. As I am not a fan of folded bracelets, I put a nice black leather band on this SNKL17 and boy!, does it look like a $500+ watch! Accuracy so far is well within less than 10 seconds a day. First nice wristwatch

I purchased impulsively, I believe Island Watch YouTube discussions to be the most credible available .For 6 decades I've seen Rolex and would like one but Mark did a darn good job of talking me down to a $100 Seiko Auto 5 which is a bit too tight on my XL wrist. I would benefit from a larger Band so I purchased two Burtons from Texas ( neither is quite large enough for me ). Today I'm waiting for a Butterfly Clasp to see if it will cure my problem.I purchased from Island ( mainly ) because Island is a Seiko AD and because I trust Mark! I still need to see "first hand" before any further major purchasing.I'll work my way up to RolexTony Kaz

Good movement, very accurate.

Nostalgic dial, and aesthetically pleasing. Small, compact, and easy on the wrist. I do not know why watch reviewers complain about the movement in this watch. It has proven to be very accurate.

Seiko 5 - Great watch for the price.

This is a great watch for the price. The advertisement pictures do not do this watch justice as it is really a sharp watch in appearance. You must wear it to keep it running as it will stop running in about 12-15 hours. I am very pleased with this watch and would purchase another one.

Seiko 5 Automatic White Dial Watch #SNKL17

A very pleasant wrist watch from a high reliable bullet proof brand of watches. The delicate dial patern is quite exquiste for a wrist watch in this price range. The beautiful white dial with gold hands and markers it's very easy to read. The quality of the brushed stainless steel case and bracelet looks a lot more as if it's rather the result of a refined polished finish.

Seiko's are awesome.

This is my 5th Seiko watch. The white dial with gold markers is a classy look. I have an identical one to this with the exception that it is two tone with the same white dial configuration. Also the options and versatility of adjusting the watch band is well worth it. I think the only downside of owning my Seiko's; is that it is easy to scratch the hardlex crystal face. The scratch is minuscule but it is noticeable when the light hit's the face a certain way. Seiko's are sturdy and dependable. Also the pricing and shipping expediency for this watch was awesome. The watch was packaged really well and arrived safely. Thank you.

The best watch in the world and very affordable!

I have had Seiko watches before. I don't know why I ever got away from them. Other brands (name brands) just don't seem to last me very long. Seiko I can wear forever. I wear them so long and beat them up so bad I have to get a new one. not because it quit, but because is so badly worn. I'm not going to get away form again. Looks great, runs great, priced right. you can wear a Seiko to work, out on the town or a fancy dinner and look classy while you do it.
