This SSK023 has been on my radar for a while and patiently waited for a sale and it finally did happen and immediately bought one. In person, this watch is super comfortable and finishing is very well done! The bracelet is easy to size for my 6.25 inch wrists..the bracelet is surprisingly comfortable and pretty stout in a great way.

When Rolex created the Explorer II, they did so with the needs of cavers in mind. This combination of a field watch with a GMT movement addresses the same needs, possibly better. The Rolex is a bit too … nice. This is more of tool watch, with a practicality to its design that I like. There is no rotating bezel to get clogged up with mud, or knocked off by impact with a rock.Caving equipment can be recognised by its patina, gained through the hard use that it gets. The stainless steel used in this design is a material that holds up well, and continues to look good. We’ll see how the numbers on the GMT scale hold up with time.

I have many seiko watchesI was waiting for SSK for a while snd got oneIt looks like Rolex Explorer II or Tudor Black Bay ProHowever, however,GMC hand did not rack hour to hourSo for every hour will track 3 minutes so it will be behind 2hours for every 4 hours, 3 for every six.So obviously, this one was defective.Debated whether to ask for replacement?Decided to get a full refund.
I got lucky with this watch as the fixed bezel lines up and it runs 15 seconds fast which is better than 15 slow with the non screwed down crown. Feels solid but the bracelet is total garbage. I put it on a crafter blue strap which is much better. Stylish but has got three stars for the crap bracelet and use of hardlex.
Excellent watch, good size and because it's a Seiko you know it's very robust, I'm very pleased with the watch.

Starbuy always has the best prices for one, I loved the design of this watch when it was released, I onky hesitated due to the hardlex crystal, but when starbuy had on sale I had to get it.After wearing it for a few weeks the crystal is still perfect and I haven't babied the watch, so if you are on the fence grab one!
Excellent GMT watch for the price. Looks beautiful with great finishing. However, disappointed with Myer’s service as they would not adjust the bracelet length for me so had to go to separate jewellers and pay extra to get adjusted
Very stunning watch, the readability of the dial is good and the GMT feature is easy to get used to. The watch face feels smaller than what I was expecting, but I mostly wear pilots watches.
