I've long been a fan of Marc's videos and when I saw he had the Seiko 5 GMT in stock, I decided it was time to finally put my money where my mouth was and purchase from him. Communication was great and the watch arrived a couple of days later. I even wrote Marc an email with a few questions about it and he personally answered within a few hours. The SSK001 is a pretty good “caller†GMT, certainly the most capable for the money. The bezel has what seems to be a hardlex cover that someone considering should be aware of - while photos sometimes show the bezel as black/grey, the clear top layer makes the grey more of a mirror. For some this might be nice, a bit flashier, but the look is definitely not utilitarian with a simple two-tone matte combo. To me this was a drawback in an otherwise amazing timepiece.

This watch is wonderful! An automatic in house movement as a GMT. And the deal I scored with Macy's was amazing! I've always wanted a Seiko and this GMT is wonderful! I just wish I could have viewed it in person at a Macy's before making the purchase.
An automatic, caller GMT for under $500 from a major manufacturer…what more needs to be said. When I purchased it was more than $100 below MSRP. Great discount. Happy to add it to my collection.

Watch looks great. Size is just right but a little thick. Accuracy is tiny off but not annoying. Clasp gets scratched easily
Future classic for sure, and fantastic price so that when I travel out of country I can leave my more expensive pieces at home and still have an enjoyable watch on my wrist that I don't have to worry about getting stolen at any moment. I get more compliments on this than my nicer watches to be honest.
This is a perfect watch. Feels amazing on the wrist. Feels like a $5,000 watch. In-house movement. Seiko wins my heart with this watch.
Beautiful watch and bracelet. Size of bracelet might fit a small elephant, I had to remove two links to fit my 7 1/4 inch wrist. Second time zone is set to my daughter's location and reads the outer 24 hour bezel, that bezel is not lumed, although that pointer hand is. Once bracelet was sized the watch sits nicely on my wrist and is comfortable for my above wrist bone wear. Hands and markers line up perfectly. The lume is readable all night. Water resistance is only10 bar, so I won't be swimming with it. Does not have screw down crown.
