Seiko Pilot's Flight SNA411P1-VAR-LS10 Quartz Chronograph 200m Men's Watch

The watch came quite quick, given the Russian-China-inspired COVID situation worldwide. Packed impeccably, withdue papers, tags, etc., even a SEIKO watch box. The only reason not to give stars is CREATION Team send me the smaller 42-mm model,not the 46-mm one which is on the site. Anyway, it is also as great-looking, as the bigger model, so I will keep it,will not ask for exchange. And, Team, find a better photographer for your watches, in real they look much nicer; pictures on the site do not do any justice to any model. In general, recommended Seller, for sure will buy more items you in the future. Thank you!

Fantastic pilot watch. Get it before it doubles in price!

I've been eyeing up this 'flightmaster' for many months and then finally pulled the trigger and I'm very glad I did. It's one of the few quartz watches highly respected and sought after by watch geeks like me and indeed a review by a popular blogger led me to fall for this model. It's surprising that seiko have managed to give this watch a 200m water resistance rating at this pricepoint. The screw down crown and Stopwatch timers will no doubt have helped toward this. For those that care and are capable (not me), this watch can calculate all sorts of measurements such as mpg/ speed etc utilising the bidirectional bezel. This watch takes design cues from the Breitling navitimer. So it is a busy dial but that shouldn't put you off. The lume is fantastic. In the flesh the quality is exceptional for the pricepoint and will get you a lot of compliments. In particular the online pictures do not do the gorgeous 2 tone bracelet any justice. There's no point commenting on the accuracy as you will take that for granted with this tried and tested seiko quartz movement. I own a few of the seiko classics including the skx and the orange monster so I appreciate quality and I make no hesitation in recommending this beauty. Please note that this is the sought after 'flighty' with the model number sna411. Other adverts are labeling some similar watches but different models as flightmasters but you will be disappointed if your after the future iconic collectors 'flighty'. Also please note that this is not a large watch. I'm very pleased Seiko haven't followed the trend of upsizing their watches to the current grotesque size of so called designer watches. This keeps this watch looking classy. The stats are all available online but please at the same time don't think it is too small as it certainly sits nice and comfortable on my medium sized wrists.

Fantastic watch

The Seiko SNA411 Flightmaster is a fantastic watch. The lug to lug of 44mm helps it fit smaller wrist very comfortably. At first the dial looks busy because it is. But when you really take the time to look at it, it grabs your attention and you become mesmerized. I love the watch.

Great Pilot's watch, but issues with the lugs.

The watch is comfortable and looks super cool. I love looking at the face of it all day. It has a bi-directional bezel for when you need to calculate things (if you're actually a pilot, that is). It's 200m water resistant, although you have to remember that this is a pilot's watch, not a dive watch. I like that this watch also features an alarm, although the alarm isn't too loud. It's more for remind you to do things rather than to wake you up. The alarm feature can also serve as a second time zone when you're flying between different time zones, although when you're using the GMT function you can't use the alarm feature. The alarm can't be used unless the hands are on the same position as the main minute and hour hands. It is one of those push-pin style bracelets but I had zero issues adjusting the bracelet. You may need a special tool for the push pins to be able to get the pins out. You can always take the watch to your local watch repair place for help. Couple things that may turn off some people. The chronograph buttons. They have a screw feature where you have to unscrew the rings around the chrono buttons if you need to use the chronograph or set and use the alarm. A bit of an inconvenience but I got over it. I've been wearing this watch for almost 2 weeks straight and I'm not complaining. My other problem is the lugs. This watch has a 21mm lug width. Because the lug holes are pretty deep into the watch, almost no other type of watch strap will work, no standard NATOs or leather straps or anything like that as they are too thick. They would work if the lug holes weren't so deep into the watch. Also, there's not a lot of straps with 21mm lengths. The only kinds of straps you can put on this watch are those Marine Nationals parachuter straps and even those are a hassle to put on the watch, although they look pretty cool once they're on the watch. Go for the Erika's Marine Nationals straps. Those are supposed to be pretty good. Overall, though, this watch is still awesome and I recommend it for those trying to find a good pilot's watch or who just like the aesthetics of the watch.

Great Watch, Fair Price

The Seiko SNA411P1 is a fantastic watch. The chronograph is done very tastefully, and the fly-back feature is enjoyable to watch. While it may be hard to read at first, it is easy to get used to. The dial is very busy, but it still has a charm to it, and it isn't overly distracting. The slide rule bezel is very useful and the extra features like unit conversions are quite handy. My main problem is the bracelet. It is not well built, and it rattles a lot making the entire watch feel "cheap" for lack of a better word. I promptly put the watch on a NATO and it became 10x cooler. I would not say its necessary to change the bracelet, but I personally prefer either a NATO or a 3rd party bracelet. All in all it is a very good watch, and I will enjoy it for a long time.

Highest quality, complex and useful features, last chance to obtain a new one

This is a very complex watches but fully functional ... compass bearings, c&d scale Slide rule, special index for common unit conversions, minutes to hour and minute conversion (using the inner slide rule scale for minutes (very clever), tachymeter, stopwatch, alarm (or set to another time zone). It even has screw down 'pushers' around the stopwatch buttons for water resistance. It is no longer in production by Seiko and as this was my last chance to own one at a discounted price so I had to order one. I highly recommend this watch.

One of the nicest watches I own

I've since gotten over it plus I was patient and was able to find one at a great price. I've also stopped focusing on cheaper watches but instead started focusing on buying nicer ones less often. The dial is very busy which some may like and others may not. Also, the information on the dial is very small for 44 year old eyes. I had been spoiled by all the youtube videos I watched explaining all of the Flightmaster's conversions, calculations and logarithm possibilities but with zoom lenses. Seiko sna411 "flighty"

Watch came in with box. Good packaging and fast delivery a day earlier from the day it was supposed to come. The watch itself was in new condition. Super fun watch to look at but can be difficult to actually tell time at first with the busy dial. Besel turns both ways. Has screw down crown so if you want to jump into the pool or ocean it's ok. Has a yellow chronomoter hand which adds a certain playfulness to the style of the watch. Bracelet is kinda heavy. It is hard to find straps for since it is 21mm. And the bezel moves just slightly when I sleep that I have to fix it because it just ticks me when it isn't aligned when I wake up. All in all fun, cool watch that I have loved everyday and hasn't left my wrist since arrival.

Superb chronograph wach packed full of features.

Very good value quartz chronograph watch, packed full of features. Being Seiko it is also very accurate and reliable. Perhaps three things to be aware of; the dial is so packed with information that you need an eye loupe to use the slide-rule bezel (unless you have exceptional eyesight!), the tachymeter scale is disjointed due to being positioned between the hour index marks and the alarm is very faint (unless you have exceptional hearing!). But these three small niggles shouldn't detract from what is a superb chronograph watch.
