Was a tad intimidated at the size - the Monster is a monster! After sizing the bracelet, however, it wears considerably smaller than it looks. Quite comfortable in fact. Great watch & great service.

Bracelet adjustment ruined the strap. It’s a pin and collar bracelet. Was unaware and lost the collars and not the strap is rendered useless. Had to buy a rubber strap. Also watch did not come wrapped. Looked and felt like a display model.

The beauty of this watch, in my opinion, is its unique look, its PADI connection, its durability, and its Seiko engineering in an automatic watch. I was concerned that the bezel would be too "blue" and garish, but it's a darker blue and looks sophisticated. The hands are decent, although they get lost sometimes in the busy face, especially with the candy bar cyclops. It catches on, but it's a lot to take in initially. The band feels light weight and I didn't love it at first, but once I had it correctly sized, it's decent quality and looks sharp. Removal is easy as I like to drop this on a NATO sometimes as well. Recommended at this price, and would give it a 4.5 if I could.
I recently purchased this piece and I am in love with it! Looks great and unique - love the blue bezel with the red accents and the day/date complication. Reliable movement and sturdy as one comes to expect with a Seiko Diver. I find myself just looking at it and loving it even more!
Seiko has never disappointed. The watch face is what attracted me initially - color scheme, offset crown, clear luminescence, cyclops eye. The Stainless Steel Link Strap is high quality, with a dual locking mechanism and, brushed finish just make this a steal at the price.
Great watch. Made in Japan watch with nice alignment with the old reliable 4R36 Seiko movement. I love the Seiko dive watches, from Turtles, Samurais, and Monsters and more. If your a Seiko dive watch collector this one is a must have. They could have start using sapphire crystals instead of Hardlex on these special edition dive watches. Other than that, it's an excellent watch.
What I like: beautiful watch. Nice lumes. What I dislike: impossibly difficult to size with the pin and sleeve.Worst of all, it doesn't do what a watch should do: keep time.Lost 6 minutes in 72 hours. It loses about 1-2 minutes per day.Thought I could buy a nice watch with a great reputation. Have another Seiko that's dead on, a Panerai which is like my most reliable, but we're talking 12x the price.Loved the look. Maybe it's a lemon. But feel I just wasted a bunch of benjamins on an inferior time piece. Can't return it now as I've adjusted it.
I really enjoy this watch! It has all the elements that I want in a piece that can stand the demands of a heavy use at work. It is sturdy, still stylish and fun to wear. I love that the date is magnified, and even more the luminosity on the dark is just awesome! Not too mention it last all night! Beside the fun factors, it is after all a Seiko! Reliable, accurate movement.Very happy to own this Seiko, one of my favorites of their collection.
This is a really nice watch by my standards anyway. I'm not one who spends 2000 bucks for a watch just to let it sit in a box. I wear them all the time, at work or in my active outdoor life. That being said, this watch was only 350 bucks with shipping and works well for what I need. It's the 5th or 6th watch that I own and probably the most expensive that I have. Really nice though. Easy to read and awesome at night when it glows. Pretty happy
