Elements of the design highlight Seiko’s association with the championships - the dial effect is created to look like the texture of the running track, whilst gold colour highlights on the hands represent the glory of being awarded the gold medal. The official logo of the Budapest Championship are engraved on the case back. The Black dial, subdials and bracelet of this particular timepiece achieves visibility and legibility due to its separate indicators for time and chronograph functions. This model is powered by the in-house built Solar chronograph calibre 8A50 that allows measurement to the nearest one-hundredth of a second.
