This Seiko Presage is a beautiful watch. It is thin, light, comfortable and very elegent. The quality is right up there with the top of the line Grand Seiko watches. Seiko makes everything in house. The dial is nothing short of breathtaking, as is the open heart to watch the escapement move, and the exhibition case back. I now have 4 Seiko Presage watches, and they all bring me great joy. The 4R5 series 20+ jewel movements are incredibly accurate, all of mine are running at +/- 1-2 seconds a day. So essentially within COSC specs that I would be thrilled to see even on a Rolex. The bottom line is, this is a great watch, highest quality, and very nice to own and admire. I highly recommend it, it punches way above it's class for the price.

The green dial is very dynamic and projects a different shade depending on how you look at it. Day to day it's darker than pictured, closer to black, but when light or sun hits it just right you are rewarded by this deep and intriguing green. The contrast gold second hand is a beautiful addition also.

The one thing that stands out with this watch is it's open heart design, giving you a nice view of the movement inside. For those with an interest in mechanical movements, this watch can be considered a beautiful piece of art. Exceeded expectations. My first mechanical watch & to be honest my first watch ever @ 49 years old; the young me had jobs & activities that would have destroyed/damaged any watch. Timekeeping is very good. I only wear it to work (indoor office/console setting & for formal wear). As soon as my wife saw it, we ordered her the womans version. So now, really had to keep with the plan and not buy another watch until the Omega time comes....Three months later and with my birthday coming soon, my better half had the brilliant idea to mark down my 30th with a rather significant watch in any collection, including the ones that host mostly watches 10-20x times more expensive......And Wow....
