Selsun Blue Naturals Dandruff Shampoo Itchy Dry Scalp -- 11 fl oz

LOVE First, well, yea, my scalp can get kind of dry and if I ignored it, someone might say I had dandruff 😉 This is the only shampoo I’ve found that actually works AND doesn’t smell like the Heisenberg high school rolling chemistry lab! But, there’s a “holy grail” product bonus, I also use it on my face. Don’t lather, just leave it as gel to sit for 3-5 minutes, my skin is as exfoliated and glowing as it would be if I hadn’t skipped a day or two of my full beauty routine. Please be careful though, my skin may be less sensitive than yours so please take my recommendation as a “this works really well for me, you should consider and decide for yourself if it’s right for you try” instead of “everyone is doing it and I promise nothing bad will ever happen if you do it too”

Be cautious if you have extra sensitive skin

I love Selsun for my sensitive scalp (for seborrheic dermatitis, not dandruff) and usually use the regular or medicated formulas with pyrithione zinc or selenium sulfide but I'm not the biggest fan of the pale blue or vibrant green (in the medicated) colors. I bought this one without reading the active ingredient is salicylic acid. This formula is much more sudsy than the other formulas and my scalp fares OK on it (if my scalp is about 95% good on the other formulas, this one makes it about 80%), but I find it extremely drying on my body. After showering, the skin on my back feels extremely tight and I'd have to moisturize there, whereas that's not a concern with the other formulas (or most other shampoos, I'd say). Best shampoo for fine hair

I love this product! My expectations were exceeded. Here's my story: I was experiencing textured patches on my scalp. The texture was weird and I was always picking the patches. Since I have dark hair, this resulted in embarrassing white flakes. I noticed a difference the day after using this shampoo! Within a week of using this, my scalp was softer and smooth. The patches cleared up. My hair is soft and it smells great! Highly recommend for anyone with fine hair prone to oiliness. It does what it's supposed to.

My family likes the Selsum Blue Naturals Nourishing Moisturizing Itchy Dry Scalp Dandruff Relief Daily Shampoo for our daily shampoo. It makes your hair feel so clean. It doesn’t weigh down your hair or make it look oily. Our hair is so shiny. It doesn’t take a lot to lather either. Smells good too

Only Shampoo I'll use!!! 100%

I absolutely LOVE this shampoo! I had my hair up one day and where my pony tail sat was a greesy spot. I already had this shampoo in my cabinet so I gave it a shot and haven't looked back since. My hair is no longer greesy or waxy like other shampoos I've used in the past. With this I wash my hair about every 3 days. No itch, No dandruff, no odor, my hair is super soft, easy to comb and ive got absolutely NO wax build up like I had wity all the other shampoos. Only regret I have is not discovering this sooner! I absolutely LOVE my hair after using it. Huge difference ecen after the first use. I highly recommend!

THIS STUFF DOES WORK!

I have been using Selsun Blue Naturals for YEARS! It takes less than other soaps becuz it is more potent. It IS thinner in consistency but that helps it get to your scalp and soak into your skin faster! I use it as shampoo, facial wash, AND body wash. It is the ONLY thing that prevents my breakouts. I got horrible breakouts on my head and body when I did not use this. I went from using a 2% salicylic acid shampoo, it got discontinued, and for 5 years I struggled with painful bumps under my skin. Head and Shoulders just did not work! I researched “what soaps contained salicylic acid”, and Selsun Blue Naturals come up. I bought it in store and have used it for 10 years since!. The chemical that causes lather is not needed that much in soap nor does it do the cleaning part of what you paid for (just wanted to clear that up). Also, it is thinner so your skin will absorb it and then be able to be scratched off when you scrub. The thinner a solution is the easier and faster it is for your skin to reply to it! I am allergic to everything but the scent is very nice and clean and not flowery or perfumey. Also, this stuff work beautifully to clear out my pores on my head/body/face in a timely manor. I haven’t had a breakout in 10 years from this stuff. I use it on my face with my Clarisonic brush. Also, I am very pale w/ sensitive skin, and have mixed ethnicity hair. The Best Dandruff Shampoo I've Ever Used

Some worked for the itching but not the dandruff while some worked for the dandruff but not the itching, and some worked for both but left my hair greasy or limp and smelling bad. I moved from the desert to a humid climate, so now I have to dry my hair before bed, whereas before I could sleep with wet hair like I did my whole life. I just use a normal conditioner on the ends of my hair without touching my scalp, and my hair is left silky and smooth! Most treatment shampoos make my hair frizzy and dry. This doesn’t! I had horrible dandruff flaking, itching, and gross white scalp buildup that I could not get rid of- even after washing. I switched to Head and Shoulders. Unfortunately, that did not work. VERY drying

I can't stand the smell of other selsun blue products so I decided to give this a try and after only two uses I'm already regretting it! It has not helped with itching at all, and it is so incredibly drying on my hair. After washing I have massive knots in my hair even with using plenty of good conditioner. If you have long hair I definately would not recommend this. Unless you enjoy spending extra hours picking knots out of your hair!
