Sennheiser HD 200 Pro Monitoring Headphones

Neatly made and comfortable enough to wear but not the best, most detailed sound. Good enough for use whilst recording vocals etc. but not up to the job for checking mixes etc.There are better headphones out there.

Brilliant head phones, they are outstanding value and performance.I bought the bundle (Amp, carry bag and headphones as a present for my wife who is just starting out playing the guitar, She is really happy with everything.I thoroughly recommend the bundle and even buying the items separately is well worth it.

Decent. Not more.

Senhheiser mens two things in my mind " Comfort and sound quality.When I purchased my first pair in 1984 the yellow foam pad ensure total comfort and the sound was just amazing. I keep on purchasing different models over the years and was always pleased. The HD 209 shocked me. The sound quality is Ok, good bass among other thing. But the comfort? No. They fit loosely, are not very stable and they are simply not confortable at all. Playing guitar with my Spark Go for hours with those ? no. Very disappointed. Lots of cheaper alternative on the market.

Great Clean Sound!

I bought these to strictly use for editing loops and wav files and I've been impressed with the quality of sound they produce. These don't isolate outside noise as much as the Sennheiser HD 280 PROs, but still have the quality of sound found in the HD 280 PROs. Defiantly recommend these over other headphones priced in the same neighborhood. Would buy these again if I ever needed another pair. Also, just got a pair of Tascom TH-300x and they are cheap! I can't believe they're suggested retail price. Their sound is muddy, lacks bass and no high end/frequency sound.

I got more that I payed for it!

I am a regular traveler and fond of photography. I went to pick up some items at the B&H store, but I was also interested in finding some headphones with good sound, comfortable and practical for traveling, since the Sennheisers I have, some are very valuable and an additional pair for use at home, Simpler, it already shows damage from use.When trying several, with a very, very pleasant surprise, I found these, being very comfortable, with a great sound within the budget that I proposed. I was very pleasantly surprised

I was on the far side of LA and forgot that I had a studio session that afternoon. My usual studio headset was across town, so I dropped into a GC to grab something and found this set. I took it after trying a few others because it was sooooo comfortable and light. Yes for another hundred dollars or more I could have got something else, but why. I was even able to hear the flaw in the conga head of the percussionist and get that fixed prior to mix. for the price they are unbeatable and better and more comfortable than many much costlier sets. May not last as long so I will just buy two or three more for the price of one high end set.

I would purchase again in a heartbeat!

This purchase is a 2nd time with this headset. The clarity and richness of the sound while playing classical music on the digital keyboard is superb. We reside in a condo with "quiet hours" where playing the grand would violate rules and disturb neighbors, so the digital is used for practice and reheasal (who wants the world to hear the repetitions required in re-learning old pieces?). When first pair connector died there was no question based on the rich base which would replace. Wired yes, but as a audiophile wireless just doesn't come close to wired sound qualitiy. This is still one of the best studio headsets Sennheiser has produced, and I almost bought a backup just because they ar getting hard to find! Not worth the $70 price tag

I originally bought it for about $54 and about a week later the price jumped to about $70.Firstly, the build quality is pretty flimsy, not worth the $70 price tag. I returned it for the $39 Tascam TH-05 Monitoring Headphones and the build quality of the Tascam is miles ahead plus has a bigger driver.When it comes to the sonic, the headphone isn't entirely a bad or unsaleable . Flat response, decent spacial separation but lacking in overall dynamic range.Worth $20 at most

The price is unbeatable by an order of magnitude in some cases. Great Value.

I acquired these headphones for enjoyable listening, not studio purposes. My hearing is degraded by age. My music interest is eclectic ranging from classical to metal. The recent listening via YouTube to a Naxos hi-fi CD reording of Mendelsohnn Piano pieces was astoundingly good and moving.
