This is the third replacement Sennheiser cable I've bought. They all fail in a short period of time because they're garbage. The only reason I bought this one is because it was so cheap and there isn't really a good alternative.

My stock cables wore out. I bought these as they are a bit thicker, they are Sennheiser and the price is very low. These are a slight upgrade from the stock cables. The give more bass and have a more balanced sound. I ended up buying 2.

Well built for the price point. The wire seems thicker and a better build quality than the original one that came with the head phones. I like the 1/4" jack instead of the smaller mini jack.

Well built for the price point. The wire seems thicker and a better build quality than the original one that came with the head phones. I like the 1/4" jack instead of the smaller mini jack.
Although a balanced cable did not transform my Sennheisers 600 to a Sennheiser 800S, it did bring everything I like about the 600 into greater focus. Literally! A greater focus and a better defined bass- an over- all cleaner presentation. My goal was to equipt the Sennheiser as best as I could, and I feel I got more of my headphone as a result of this cable. It also gave me evidence that a balanced cable did- in this case, improve performance descernably. It wasn't merely a difference, but a refinement of everything already evident about the 600 in my system. I would recommend this tweak to anyone looking to suss out greater performance margins with a headphone they know themselves to enjoy or love.
They work great. I only wish that I had ordered the 6.5,mm audio Jack that reduces to 3.5 mm so that I could adapt it to my iPhone.
Great cable with which I upgraded my Sennheiser HD600. Now I can connect it to my balanced headphone AMP (Fostex) and I can really hear a difference.
I couldn't find anything wrong with the cable, but sound is disappointing. Different sound signature than the cable originally came with my HD650. Rough sound and not smooth. I ended up not using this cable and made my own cable using Mogami 2534 cable and Neutrik connector with much better result.
I believe this will last longer than the original cable (or the first replacement I bought). The plugs don't pull out as easy, and they're thicker. The rating would be a "5", but I need to use them for a while before giving it the highest score.
Works great as a replacement to the original cable. I'm not an audiophile, so I can't give you a rundown as to how it performs on a technical level, but I haven't noticed any sort of degradation to the sound quality as compared to the original. I ended up running over the cord on the original with my computer chair too many times and damaged it, which is why I got this. This cord is certainly thinner and likely not as well protected, but it plugs in and operates just fine.
