The headset works great the only thing is when you turn on headset there is No green led letting you know it’s on. Other than that is sounds good and clear for watching tv. Also there is a selector on front bottom of stand which indicates three positions. Can’t tell which one it’s on.
This is the third Sennheiser RS120 we've bought over many many years. About every 10 to 15 years the headphones break and we have to replace it. Wish they were sturdier but still well worth the cost. I can hook it up to the receiver and my husband can use the headphones while I can hear the regular speakers.
The sound quality is great. I have my TV's audio connected to the inputs on my stereo receiver, and then have the headphones base connected to the headphone jack which works out very well.
If the RS 120 RF headphones have one flaw, it's that when using them while working around the house, they may fall off when you bend forward. I've almost dropped them into the kitchen sink a few times while washing dishes. My fix is to create a loop of cord that I tie to the headphones and wrap around behind my head. This way, if they slip, they don't fall off. The sound on these is great. They are light and have fantastic range. With a second set of headphones, we can both watch TV at our own volume. I now own 3 sets of these.
I have had several of these and they have worked perfectly and lasted years but this one doesn't seem to have good quality sound - lots of static. I will try putting in new batteries and see if that works but I really have never had to do that before. I have used this particular product for about 15 years or more. I am very hard of hearing and it is the only way I can watch TV so I really need them.
Frequency control on right ear gets bumped or inadvertently moved, interrupting the volume. Needs protection or moved to a different location. Maybe increasing the size of the volume control would help.
Works great plugged into my computer headphone jack. Comfortable and doesn't pick up interference like my JVC wireless headphones. Automatically recharges when placing back on stand.
