Very good firm and matte eye pencil. It lasts all day, but easily washes off with warm water. Very soft and pigmented. It's very difficult to wipe it off, but it stays on perfectly. I like this shade very much. It's priced at $12 on Sephora. I think it's fine, because it will last for a couple months of active use . The pencil is easy to sharpen. The packaging is practical... I purchased the majority of my makeup from Sephora but had never tried anything from the Sephora collection line. I saw this recommended by Robert Welsh so thought it would be a hit for sure! I was really pleasantly surprised by how nice of an eyeliner it is. I got the shade black lace and it is such a pigmented formula! The pencil itself is a gel formula that makes it much softer than a traditional eyeliner pencil. It glides onto the eyes with ease and little pressure. That being said, it's not too soft like some pencils where It continuously breaks and needs sharpened all the time. The pencil glides easily onto the water line and stays for the majority of the day. I do experience a little bit of wear on the corners of my eyes by the end of the day, but I do have very watery eyes and find that not many eyeliners last in the corners of my eyes. I also really like that even though the eyeliner is pretty long wearing, you can still smudge it out before the pencil dries down in order to get a more smokey effect. Once the pencil dries down though I don't experience any transfer. The price point is at least half of the cost of a high-end eyeliner from Sephora. Retailing at $15 Canadian, you're definitely getting a quality product for a steal of a price! They have a whole slew of different shades in all the colors of the rainbow so you are guaranteed to find a shade that works for you. Overall, I was pleasantly surprised with this last minute purchase and I am definitely going to purchase more shades. This also makes me excited to try more products from the Sephora collection line!... Show more

CHANGE THE OUTSIDE LAYER!!
PLEASE CHANGE THE OUTSIDE LAYER OF THE PENCIL!!!! I would have given this eyeliner 5 stars if I didn't have to deal with the constant rubbing off of the silver flecks from this eyeliner. It literally drives me insane to get silver flecks all over my face after using this pencil. Why does it have to rub off on my hands constantly?? I included a photo to show what happens to the outside layer of the pencil when I use it. NONE of my drugstore eyeliners, which are cheaper than this one, do this. I gave it 2 stars for the color and staying power.... Show more

I really wanted to love this….
I really wanted to love this, but I just don’t. I wanted a nude shade for my waterline that would not break the bank. The application is easy, it has a nice creamy feeling formula and it glides on easily but it immediately started to melt right off my waterline. I reapplied a thicker coat and again it was a disaster. Slid right down and started to smudge and then got patchy and cakey and was honestly just a hot mess. 0/10 would not reccomend for use on your waterline.... Show more

nightmare product
honestly I'm impressed at how poor this product functions as a basic pencil eyeliner. I didn't realize it was possible to create such a badly designed eyeliner.- it does not apply smoothly. it sputters and leaves gaps that need to be filled in after.- somehow the shape or dimension of the pencil do not fit standard eyeliner pencil sharpeners. I used a Sephora-branded sharpener and it does not catch properly onto the blade.- when I can get the pencil to sharpen, the product breaks into pieces and requires multiple attempts.- when it doesn't break, it does not sharpen to a usable point. it's flat or misshapen at the tip.do not buy this abysmal product. pay a bit more for something that actually works as designed.... Not Even Worth the $11 They’re Charging
I’ve been (trying) to use this eyeliner pencil for about 6 weeks now and it just continues to disappoint. It is hard to open. It smudges a ridiculous amount of - even if you’re actively looking for a “smudged effect” or whatever. Like I feel like it almost melts? And it gets *all over* the pencil itself (which I’m not sure how it manages that.) And it’s almost impossible to sharpen! I have several different (really good!) makeup pencil sharpeners and have tried all of them. And it’s awful. It doesn’t work. Definitely not worth even the $11 I paid for it. If I could give this 0 stars I would.... Show more

Please bring back the old formula!!
I have been using this eyeliner for many years and loved it. It seems that the formula was changed a few years ago and it’s just not the same. It doesn’t sharpen well, is softer, and is loose and does not adhere to the outer casing of the liner. It also runs out much faster than usual. I did bring a few of my liners to the Sephora store to show them, but there was nothing that they could do. They gave me a number to call and they were not very helpful. It would be nice to at least receive one replacement for all of the product that has been wasted. Please bring the original formula back. Thank you😃... Show more

Smoosh, Mushy Junk
Absolute junk. I bought this in the Sephora shop today and the first moment I put it to my eye the tip broke off and fell in the sink. It was soft like mud. I attempted to pick it up and it just smooshed and melted between my fingers. And you can’t sharpen it! It has a plastic casing around the tip! I thought, “Well, maybe you twist it up then.” Nope. You’re meant to sharpen it with a thick plastic casing around it. I’m returning it tomorrow.... Show more

Tiramisu-Matte
I have so many of these. I love them. Whenever someone asks me what I want as a gift I ask for these. Cause they are so adorable too. Idk how but they don’t budge on my oily skin! I have never been able to do the reverse cat eye look before but now I can thanks to this eyeliner. I love them. I like the matte ones better than the glittery ones. But I have all of them....
