Deep, dark red with good purple tints, the bouquet rich in ironstone, smoky graphite and spicy/peppery shiraz nuances. The palate is soft and rich and fleshy, very much a savoury wine which is driven by pepper spice and earthy, ironstone nuances. Full-bodied but also supple and finely-textured.
