I recently purchased a VE SS 6.0 Litre. It had been sitting in a shed on a farm Un-driven for the past 4 years. For a car with only 70,000kms, it had really bad white corrosion that had built up on the engine block, alternator, brake callipers (etc). Used this stuff and wow!!!! I did not dilute, used it straight out of the bottle. After 3 minutes soaking, high pressure rinse off & it will blow ya mind with what this stuff does. I added a before & after shot of the brake calliper just so u can see how well it works.Cheers

Quality product. Used it on aluminium checks plate tool boxes on the Ute. Brought them back to as new, when used as directed.

This is an acid based product that will remove minor corrosion on stainless steel. I suspect it contains oxalic acid, a a weak organic acid, and it will result in the s/s having a mirror like surface. However - once the s/s is cleaned I would recommend the use of "Stainless Steel Oil" that can be purchased by from specialised cleaning chemical shops. Lightly oil the s/s and it will retain its gloss. Please note that it is a cleaning solution to remove light corrosion and it is not a polish.

I bought this product not for its advertised use, for which I'm sure it's great, but to clean Gold nuggets I had found prospecting. It work's very well when an amount is poured into a container to which the Gold is added, then the container is placed inside an ultrasonic cleaner, the gold comes out glistening,Highly recommended .
Used as directed it doesn't have any real punch!I used it to clean my tinny and had to give it multiple goes and still not happy.If you made it cheaper and I could use multiple bottles of the stuff then maybe at full strength ( not diluted) it might work???But used as directed I might as well of used cordial on it.I'm a handy man and in no way would I recommend this product for cost or effectiveness .Sorry for negative feedback.
Forget about it if intending to use on a tinny or other large surface. Will put awful streaks in everything even following the minimal instructions to a T. The best way to use it is to have a spray bottle and keep applying it liberally such that the piece is just dripping with the stuff to avoid streaks. I’d recommend this product only for small stuff, brake calipers, etc. not for a boat hull. I got far better results in 10 minutes with a scotch brite.
I bought this stuff because of the reviews. I thought the rims on my delica we're a lost cause. They literally look brand new now! Just make sure you use it neat and scrub with a brush and a tooth brush for the hard to get too spots. I had a bucket of car wash handy and once I sprayed it off I scrubbed with the car wash to make sure their was no residue left over. Then polished to shine them up. I wouldn't wanna get this stuff in you eyes or skin after seeing what it does too dirty aluminium. Get it. You'll see how good it is!
Brought this last week, been using it on my tinny I’ve just purchased. Incredible stuff, it was yellow/brown and covered in muck. Needed a little sand to get rid of the thick stuff and then loaded it with septone mixed 50/50 with water and it has come up brand new. Best aluminium cleaner on the market. (I’d recommend this over the septone hull cleaner specifically for boats as it’s a lot stronger)
bough this to try on some 20 year old Pajero alloy wheels that I thought would need to be media blasted. Mixed 1 part stronger than directed at my own risk. used paint brush and kept brushing on removed wheel going over and over and each pass removed more and more until all the grime was gone, wheels now look almost new on the outside (didn't clean inside, no need.) followed instruction and pressure washed on completion, looked like professional car detailer had done the job.
Bought this alu cleaner for my 1961 BMW R50 engine and gearbox. Both are sandcast aluminium. not greasy or stained , just old. Ingrained dirt and dull looking. I followed the instructions and the diluted cleaner had no effect. Tried it neat, foamed nicely, but still had no real effect, alu is still a dull grey withingrained black dirt. Hopeless
