This is a brilliant small board providing native serial communication for all sorts of applications. Easy to assemble with good instructions on how to modify it from a console port to a usefull RS232 serial communication port!

I wasted time and money on a cheap serial adaptor on Amazon, which didn’t work. This time I got the Serial PiZero, soldered it directly to the Pi Zero and it worked first time! I’ll get another one.

Well built, easy to use.
Paid next day delivery for this item. And it never turned up. a replacement allegedly sent after asking for a refund on next day delivery. Waited a month, nothing. Through this time asking for refunds which were completely dismissed. Eventually the issue was raised with PayPal, I got a refund for the item but not the next day delivery. Then today I received an email asking to review the item I did not receive. In conclusion, no idea. Bought a different product from a different seller. It works well. I'll use the other seller again.
The Serial Pi Zero is in use to connect a Pi Zero W with an EIB/KNX-RS232-Gateway to run a KNXD-Server.After disabling bluetooth and remapping the serial pins (https://www.abelectronics.co.uk/kb/article/1035/raspberry-pi-3-and-zero-w-serial-port-usage) everything works just fine.
