Excellent for short bursts of cleaning (battery doesn’t last too long. I didn’t take time but the stated 20min battery life feels accurate). Works extremely well on wood floors and tile. I tried it on carpet, but didn’t see it do much (though the carpet is in bad condition). It definitely replaces my vacuum and mop process which is nice. On the negative, it misses the corners (that the mop gets).After reading reviews, I make sure to clean and take the removable pieces to dry on a tray between each use to avoid mold. It takes time, but not more than the time it takes to set the mop.Another con is the need for bought solution vs. my own vinegar/water/ dish soap/ essential oil solution. Maybe one day I’ll brave trying my own solution.

This vacuum has earned its place in my home (and displaced a few other tools which I happily gave away). I have always loved the Shark brand, they deliver a quality, high preforming product every time!!

Coming directly out of the box it was very easy to assemble, and after only four hours of charging I was able to use it for the very first time. It cleaned the floors very well I was astonished how dirty the water was whenever it was done. It left my house, smelling very clean, and the device itself was very easy to dismantle and clean thoroughly, even though it does self clean the brush you still have to clean the dirty water bin, vacuum, and anything that might have gotten stuck in the brush itself. I have been anxiously awaiting my new Shark HydroVac and the wait was not in vain. My apartment is mostly carpet but is tiled in the kitchen and bathroom, with area rugs throughout. As you can imagine, my Shark has brought a lot of efficiency to the process of maintaining the floors and rugs - which for me is its most welcome feature. Not having to wheel out the vacuum, shampooer and Swiffer is a real luxury. Switching between modes couldn't be simpler. I also love that it is self-cleaning. It wouldn't have ever occurred to me to seek out this sort of device and yet now I can't imagine keeping house without it. I got this product on a promotion for Black Friday this year! I’m a shark fanatic so I knew I could rely on their products. I dug in and did some research before purchasing. I’ve found life so chaotic as of recent and wanted something to simplify my process especially with a toddler running around. This has been such a game changer for me!! The suction power is fantastic and it leaves just a small amount of water on the floor so it’s great for laminate flooring. It picks up so much dirt dust hair and even big crumbs. It cut down my process by half. The only reasons I gave it four stars instead of 5 is the tank capacities in both the dirty and clean water tanks. You have to change them frequently to do your whole house. I’d recommend this product highly!!

UPDATE: I have used this Shark product several times now. I noticed that when I was sweeping the floor it would alert me to add water. I was not intending to wash the floor. The box it came in said it Vacuums, Mops and Self cleans. I went online and it says it does not dry vacuums. I find it to be misleading. I was excited about it being a vacuum and mop, all in one. Comes with a base where you stand it to charge. It’s lightweight which makes it such a joy to use. Yes, you will feel happy cleaning. Not only it’s lightweight which makes it easy to move around, it also swivels effortlessly. This features can be felt while vacuuming or washing. The tanks are easy to remove and put back, the same with the roller. Super easy to pop off and give it a rinse. There’s no brushes, it’s a roll lined with a soft velvet like material that does an amazing job scrubbing the floors. Top canister is where you add the water and concentrated cleaning agent. A small bottle comes with the vacuum. As you wash, the dirty water goes to a bottom canister. Once you’re done you remove the canisters and rinse them. Then you add clean water to top canister and set vacuum back on base. Turn it on and it will do a self cleaning for 2 minutes. You can remove the roller to dry if you would like. Power button is on the handle. You press same power button to vacuum, wash, self clean. Next to power button is an additional button which you press when you go on a mat. Everything is easy to read with the light up icons. The vacuum also has two headlights which are bright and help you in dark spots. The battery charge lasted throughout all my cleaning. Sweeping floors, washing floors (3 bathrooms, kitchen, foyer and extra room) and vacuuming 8 mats. All in all, this is a great vacuum for people with hardwood floors who want an easy and quick way to keep the floors clean.

This worked so well for me. I love that it’s cordless. It makes using it so much easier than a regular vacuum. I have alot of laminate floors in my house barely any rugs and I always have to sweep or vacuum before mopping, but this eliminates the extra step, it does both at the same time! It’s so much more time efficient. I also felt like it really did a great job of cleaning my floors. There was so much dirt and debris in the canister, and my floors looked great clean and shiny just as good as a mop and bucket but so much faster. Game changer! I recently moved into a new house and the dust from the floors were not coming off no matter how many times I mopped with a regular mop and bucket. I bought this and I felt the difference immediately and was able to walk barefooted without my feet getting all dirty. This mop/vac has amazing suction and cleaning abilities. You get so much square footage done with one full canister. The machine cuts off when you have to empty and refill. The battery lasts to cover almost my entire house so that a plus plus for me. It charges and self cleans on the stand!!!! And it’s not that noisy. IF YOU WANT SUPER CLEAN FLOORS…GET THIS! You won’t regret it.

I have laminate vinyl plank floors throughout my home and large rugs in each of the rooms. The machine is incredibly easy to operate. It is a powerful machine, especially considering it is cordless. However, it is lightweight and easy to maneuver, resulting in less exertion on my part. I was skeptical about the longevity of the charge but was impressed with the results. As for storage before and after, it has a very small footprint. My favorite parts: the cleaning cycle and self-cleaning roller. This by far is my most favorite cleaning product to date! First off it doesn’t take up much room at all the charger is slim and so is the actual HydroVac so it fits easily in a corner in a kitchen. I would recommend this 100 times over to anyone who has hardwood floors you will love it just as much as I did! I would give this product a 1000/10 if I could!
