Shark Cordless Vacuum IZ102

Love this vacuum. We have long pile carpet and our previous vacuum didn’t pick up and hair or fluff so our carpet constantly looked dirty despite frequent vacuuming. This vac is amazing!! Our carpet has never looked so clean and it gives those beautiful freshly vacuumed carpet lines. So satisfying. The battery doesn’t take long to charge and I can do my whole 3 bedroom house well within the battery time. highly recommended.

Awesome. Makes cleaning a breeze.

Love this so much. Lightweight. Easy to snap tools on and off with my arthritic fingers. Good suction. Charge lasts 30-40 mins which is perfect for everyday use. I can do all of our 3 bed, 2 bath, 2 reception house on one charge. Emptying the cannister is a breeze. Needs to be done frequently as it's not big, but not a big deal as you just hold it over the bin, pull the switch and the flap opens and all the rubbish drops out. Really simple, easy to use, does the job.

Better than Dyson hands down!!

Was choosing between this and the Dyson v7 which were the same price, so glad I picked this as it’s so much better!! It is slightly heavier but for me I don’t find this an issue as it’s mainly for spot cleaning/ short use. -better main vacuum attachment, hair does not get tangled. It also has a light shining on where you’re about to vacuum. -better suction, also like how the power (2 settings) is a slide button, and the trigger button activated max power when in use. This is really helpful for more suction on particularly dirty areas. -bin is much easier to empty than the Dyson

Buy this not a Dyson!

For a stick vac its excellent. Pros: Self cleaning brush roll works! It's super manoeuvrable, fairly light weight and has 3 different suction power levels which is great for battery conservation and super suction when needed. It has a FANTASTIC battery time! I vaccumed for an hour with no loss of suction and it was still going strong. I haven't tested it to the end of its battery life yet because I haven't reached it (amazing!) The light is helpful too. Great head attachments and its really easy to empty the dust barrel. The base of the dust barrel is cut at an angle so its rests it on things without it rolling away. This is great because it doesn't stand on its own and when I want to set it down for a moment it can stay at standing height, great for someone elderly ... MoreFor a stick vac its excellent. Cons: Cons is really just me being picky. The brush roll head is thick so I need to change heads to vaccum under the couch now. It doesn't like vaccuming against edges of things like walls, draws etc. you need to use Max power for those areas. The little wheels on the brush head get tangled and clogged with dust and hair. The brush roll itself works perfectly at detangling but the little wheels don't have this feature. Some notes for context: **I haven't tested on carpet **I have long hair that gets everywhere and a bird that drops seed. Works well for us. **My partner has a dyson animal stick vac for his house and it lasts NO WHERE NEAR as long as the Shark. The Shark has more features that work, is a better product and is better value for money. Overall: I would 100% recommend the Shark IZ102 Cordless Vacuum with Self Cleaning Brushroll.

Excellent everyday vacuum

I have been using this vacuum for about a year now on a daily basis and it does a great job on both carpet and tiles. As long as it is cleaned regularly, including the head, the filter and the basket, it maintains a good strength for such a light machine. One issue I have is that I think the manufacturer should give instructions on how to clean the head if it gets blocked, which happens occasionally if you suck up a large object. It's very easy to do, but when it first happened I thought the machine was broken because it lost it's suction.

Great for pet hair

The Shark Cordless is magic on hard floors. The self cleaning brush picks up pet hair from rugs and carpets really well. I have found that when vacuuming hard floors, it can shoot dirt backwards when pulling the vacuum towards you. Be sure to pick up the dirt on the next push forward. I'm not confident that the suction would be enough for a deep clean on carpets, however, as an everyday run around it works well. Not great on car carpets. Easy to empty the dust chamber and easy to push around. Not too loud and charges fairly quickly. If I'm quick, I can do the whole house on one charge. Holds full power until the battery runs out. Would be good if they supplied a wall hook as it doesn't stand up on its own

Had it two weeks can’t complain

Only had this for a couple of weeks, Pretty happy with this unit. We have floorboards and a dog who sheds a lot of fur. This does a really good job of getting everything up. Run time is enough to get through the house. I like the light on the head unit, helps to see all the dust. Only draw back is I can’t get right under the lounge as the barrel and attachment clip prevent reach. The two small attachments are very good for use in the car too. Overall we are happy with this purchase.

Mobile Vacuum Shark IZ102

After moving into a much smaller apartment with a perfectly working 15 year old Miele - I needed freedom to manoeuvre. The stick vacs are the bomb. No more dragging around and plugging in heavy machines and backing out of narrow spaces. You don't get the suction but technology has replaced that to a large degree - my old machine could not pick up hair on coir mats but the shark blitzed it with the non clogging brush! Brilliant! No more expensive bags to buy either. Love this machine and we've only just met. Whether it will last as long as the Miele will remain to be seen.

Sharks Performance

I have found this cordless vacuum to be quite powerful and efficient at its task. It is also easy to empty and convenient to charge the battery. The variable power button and light on the vacuum head are also excellent features. However, I do find that the weight in the vacuum head is a bit taxing - my previous cordless vacuum was much lighter and therefore easier to use, but I believe that the Shark does a better job. I am hoping that the battery lasts more than the two years that the battery in my previous cordless vacuum (another brand) gave me.
