Best suction and so lightweight

The only thing I will mention is that the piece that attaches these for storage on the vacuum was not with my vacuum. You can easily order one from Amazon. I did and now it’s all together. You can easily detach the canister which is lightweight to reach areas with your vacuum. Suction is still just incredible. I have low pile rugs, and turn the brush on when I vacuum carpet, and then turn the roller off when vacuuming hardwood or kitchen floors. Still, suction is unaffected. This thing was a cinch to assemble. I did it in about 3 min. Everything clicks into place. I attached pics of the amount of pet fur and dust from a 10 x 10 foot area I my carpeted living room. The day before I vacuumed with my old vacuum. Holy moly! Notice everything the other vacuum missed! I’m now a Shark vacuum convert and am very pleased with this model as a refurbished one, it works like new and it’s more affordable! You will love this baby! I definitely recommend it! Happy vacuuming. Thanks for reading.

I am very disappointed in this vacuum. While vacuuming about 600 square feet of my house, I had to manually clean the brush roll about five times. Yes, we have two cats that shed a lot and the place badly needed vacuuming (we needed a new vacuum lol), but that's just ridiculous. It also seems much heavier than my previous Shark, and it gets extremely hard to push as the brushroll collects fur. The head (?) is weirdly small, which I guess is good for manuevring in small places but also means it doesn't cover much area. It also didn't come with nearly as many attachments as my past Shark (hoping the old ones will work with it, although I haven't checked yet). Overall, I'm quite disappointed and would not buy again. Does Target allow returns of opened merchandise?

Had a Shark for 8 years with daily use and LOVED it. It finally quit working and so I bought this one, mostly because of the power pet tool that the product description says it comes with. Got the vacuum and no power pet brush or under appliance wand. 1st call to customer service and they wanted me to send it back and then wait for another one. Nope. 2nd call to customer service and the lady said she'd send out another one asap and I could take out 2 accessories then send 2nd one back. Excellent! Second vacuum comes...no additional accessories. 3rd call they advise me to call Shark and ask for accessories to be sent to me. A week passed, 5th call to QVC and the manual pull was declined, no update was emailed to me. So once again another manual pull request has been submitted, so we'll see. As for the vacuum itself, not great like my previous Shark. The 2 attachments that did come with it are pretty useless and they don't stay on the hose. Power head is useless when lift away is used. Cord is extremely short and hose is so stiff when you use the wand you have to place your foot against the rest of it so it won't fall over a dozen times. Suction seems ok which is the only reason for the 2 stars. No lights on the front and power switch is not in a convenient place. We'll see if I ever get the other 2 accessories that were suppose to be included. Otherwise, come on Shark, you can do better than this.

It's OK but not nearly as nice as the better models.

I usually buy the better model of the shark vacuums. Unfortunately they were not available this time. I thought I'd try it. I love my other shark vacuums. I guess this one has good suction but it's harder to use than the other model I'm used to. No headlights for one thing. Plus the release for the wand is very difficult! You have to shut it off and squeeze the tab. It's hard to do and it's pinched me several times. That I really don't like. It's kind of cheaply made and the attachments are hard to use. The attachments also fall off while I vacuum. There's latches you have to release to empty the dirt cup. Just too hard to use attachments and difficult tabs and latches. I am used to the button releases that are effortless. I need headlights to see in dark areas too. ... MoreI usually buy the better model of the shark vacuums. If you use the wand to reach small places a lot, this one isn't going to be what you are looking for.

Shark Navigator is a hassle

I hate it and hope to return it. I just used it once in one carpeted bedroom. This was my first experience with a bagless vacuum. It is messy. The dust, once it has been collected, is very fine and does not drop easily into a can as instructed. It flies all over, so you are almost back to where you started. Plus there are three filters to clean every time. It does have good suction and is strong, but I am used to pulling a vacuum cleaner along rather than having it pull me. I have medium length hair which sometimes I might brush in a room with a carpet. But no dog that sheds. Cutting the hair that got caught in the floor nozzle was a pain and do not want to do that every time I use the vacuum. Such a small amount of hair should not have caused a problem. I have owned a few different vacuum cleaners , made by different manufacturers over the last few years . And each one has lasted barely over a year. Now I'm not a person who vacuums multiple times in a week. Honestly , I may vacuum once every 2-3 weeks. So the old ones didn't crap the bed due to being over used. Before buying this fantastic vacuum , I did my due diligence and did a lot of research and read a ton of product reviews. By far I felt that this Shark vacuum was the best fit for me and I was right. Everything about this vacuum is smooth , easy to use & operate and definitely the best value for my wallet. The Best Investment In A Vacuum You'll Ever Need
10 July 2022

This vacuum is so easy to use, lightweight, and cleans better than ANY vacuum I've ever had. It keeps the carpet looking brand new-everytime! Even the heavy traffic areas and areas like where a person sits at their desk where their feet are planted day after day. Run the vacuum, and the carpet it "Fluffed" back up. It is also the absolute best hardwood floor vacuum-EVER! Not one bit of scattering dirt while vacuuming--and I vacuum cat litter everyday with it. it's easy to empty the canister without any problems. Just don't hold the bottom of the canister level with-or above the top of the trash can when emtying it. Hold the canister down inside ot the trash can and allow the dirt to fall a short distance so it doesn't fly back up into your face, or fly everywhere ... MoreThis vacuum is so easy to use, lightweight, and cleans better than ANY vacuum I've ever had. I couldn’t despise a vacuum more than I despise this one. We have had three Shark vacuums before this one. They were all the Navigator, but not the lift away. This model is horrible. The drum fills up with ONE PASS OVER OUR LIVING ROOM AND WE HAVE BRAND NEW CARPET. Literally, we had our house was built, everything completely new, we have no pets, we don’t smoke, and we bought this vacuum brand new to use in our new house so none of the old “dust and dirt” from our previous home would be transferred to this “new everything” house. Every single time we use it it smells weird. We’ve cleaned the filters, we clean the drum, we have replaced the filters, all three, it still smells. The way it’s built is so unsteady it falls over at the slightest gust of wind. Literally I have walked by it too quickly and it’s fallen over. The hose seems like it’d be long but it’s so tight it doesn’t stretch far. I cannot find a single thing about this vacuum I like and that stinks because I am an avid Shark product lover. Now, as I’m looking for another new vacuum to replace this barely used one that’s garbage all around, my husband doesn’t want to get another Shark because of this one. Not to say I blame him, because I don’t, it’s horrible. Over the last 7-8 years of having Shark vacuums this one ruined their image and reliability for us both. And that’s after our second one caught on fire and burned my husband’s hand, but they sent us a new upgraded version of that model we had even though it was two years old and pretty worn out, because the reason it caught fire was fixed for the new model they sent us. So we weren’t even that upset over that entire incident. This whole vacuum in comparison makes me really annoyed they would even sell a product like this.

For the price, this is a “cheap” made style of Sharks. I have another shark(better model) that I freaking love. So got this on a sale to have as my upstairs vacuum. The lift away hose is terrible! Not long enough and the curve to the handle REALLLYYY limits you to its reach. When using the hose, the vacuum always falls over. The electrical cord is not long enough, I’m always having to unplug it and re-plug in somewhere closer(I don’t have that big of an upstairs). The clasps to the canister is manual(and so is the lift away hose option), not the simplicity of a push a button(and simply click back in), and when you put the canister back on you have to manually clasp it back down. This vacuum is okay. I broke my other Shark Navigator, the NV586 purple one, about a year ago and needed a quick replacement so I thought this one would be just as good. It was not. It was fine but really just not powerful enough to handle my 4 kiddos and two pets. So I went looking for an upgrade and I am coming back to write a review finally becuase I recently purchased the new Shark Vertex DuoClean (AZ2002) and OMG I never knew what I was literally missing. One single pass over an 8x10 rug and the DuoClean picked up more dirt and hair than any other vacuum I have ever owned. No exaggeration, I think I picked up years worth of nasty that I had no idea was still in there. As a bonus, it also glides over the hardwood floors picking up everything instead of scattering it like other vacuums and now I am also throwing away my brooms. After owning three Sharks and one Dyson, I would recommend the DuoClean forever. So the NV360 is fine for single folks with no pets or kids who also don't need to do hardwood floors, otherwise watch for a sale and snag the new DuoClean.
