I bought this because it was SHARK brand. I have a plug in vacuum and love it. However, this hand held lacks luster for sure.First, it take FOREVER for the battery to charge. I had it plugged in overnight and still wasn’t fully charged. Lasts a very short time on said charged battery. Second, there is only a pet upholstery attachment. Would be nice if it had an attachment for quick floor mess.It will not get under furniture as the intake is lifted up so you can’t get a solid flat base on the floor trying to get under things.I am still using it. The pet function is fine with exception of the lame battery.

The Shark UltraCyclone vacuum is a small, portable vacuum with good cleaning power. The suction is strong, and it can get into hard to reach spots in your home or car. It has a decent size dust capacity and it’s easy to dump to the bin, and it’s also secure so you won’t have to worry about it accidentally coming off. It comes with a small attachment that helps to get into smaller spaces, like linings of couches or in your car. You can also purchase other attachments for this, if you like. This has really good battery power, too. I use this mainly in my house as my little ones are big mess makers at times, and instead of pulling out the whole vacuum, I can use this and get the job done efficiently and 3x as fast!

Hand held cordless vac. Just like old school dust busters. It pics up stuff off the floor for easy disposal. Downside suction opening where stuff gets sucked up into machine is kinda small but it does pick up really small stuff very well. Don’t expect to clean your whole carpet by hand, it would take all day. But if you spilled a bit of flour or m%26m’s, or marbles this is the machine for you!

So I read all the reviews for this vacuum and thought i would give it a chance and purchase because Shark usually makes the best vacuums. well i was so wrong! The vacuum appeared used as their was dust and debris in the container than i realized they do NOT include a charger. How are you supposed to charge a cordless hand vacuum without a charger!! also, the nozzle tool piece they do include is so super tiny. i ended up taking it back to Walmart for a refund and ended up buying a Fur Buster cordless hand vacuum that was $20 cheaper, includes the vacuum charger, and has excellent suction.buyer beware of purchasing this hand vacuum!!
Bugs Beware. What had become a top issue in my 35 year marriage was who was going to be pick up the alive or dead bug on the floor. While I consider myself to be protective of my wife of over three and one half decades, I am not good at catching insects. Then I found the Shark Vacuum and my life changed. Turn on the suction button and bye-bye insects. You can dump them outside on in the toilet via the trap door on the bottom of the vacuum. I bought another one so my wife and I can see who can get the bugs the quickest.

It's a great tool.--The dust pan opens easily for emptying. It's easy to detach and reattach to rinse out, though it's a little hard to really get out all the dirt. The double filters come out very easily, and take a quick minute to wash.--To my eye, the light blue color is muted and elegant. Very nice.--Have to buy brush attachment ($9.95) and stand ($29.95) separately, which is obnoxious. Plus, there's $10 shipping on orders under $99. The brush, at least, should have been included with the original purchase, and I would argue that the stand should too, as it's a big unit, and a pain in the neck to charge or store without it. Also, there's accessory storage on the stand, but not on the machine. I'd add that the stand is a piece of molded plastic, and way overpriced IMO; at the very least it should be an option at purchase for an extra $10-12.--The tip of the nozzle is fragile, and the insertion and removal of the crevice tool is stiff. I got four cracks on the tip removing the nozzle. It was drilled into me from childhood never to force or jam pieces. I am very careful, and tend keep things in good shape for many years, so I don't think the plastic is up to par, plus the accessories are difficult to get in and out.The tip is integrated into the removable dust pan, so it's replaceable. But it costs $15.95 $10 shipping. As it happens, I bought the three-year warranty plan which covers everything from day-one. If you buy the warranty, make sure you know what it covers before you call: the woman at Shark was nice and helpful, but it was obvious she was instructed to avoid claims. She first told me, incorrectly, that the insurance took a year to kick in and that the standard warranty didn't cover parts; then that I'd have to pay shipping. We got it sorted out.Hopefully I'm wrong, but I'm worried that this vaccuum is more of a short-term purchase. For environmental reasons, but also just on principle, I just don't believe this is the kind of item that should be replaced often. Time will tell. The other thing is that the light blue color is apparently custom for Walmart, so the replacement piece from Shark doesn't match. Not a big, big deal, but it makes me a little sad.One note: the vacuum is lightweight, but may be a little long or bulky if you have wrist issues like arthritis.
We’ve had this vac for a couple months now in hopes I would learn to love it..I believe we’re getting a divorce! We had our previous shark vac ( pet version) for probably 25 years before it died. We replaced it with this version in hopes to have the same luck. Nope! It’s a struggle to open the dirt cup and when, after a lengthy fight, it opens and spills the contents on the floor. Whoever designed this should be fired! I tried to contact Shark but they weren’t interested in answering me. I’d like to say I’m done with shark but I love their vacuums. We’ve had previous brands, some very expensive, some cheaper, but they just don’t work like shark. As far as the small one, it’s going to be cleaned and donated!
I like this handheld vacuum. But I am really not satisfied with the accessories. I was hoping to have a wall mounting accessory (named as a DOCK in the provided instructions) for this particular Shark model as it requires recharging the battery. However, no wall mounting option is provided with this product as purchased. The instructions shows several accessories that can be purchased via the Shark website (URL is listed for this), but when I went to the website to purchase a wall mount, one was listed as unavailable and the one that I tried to purchase does NOT work with the Shark Model CH900 series that I ordered. Still I wish it had a good dock to store it on when needing recharging.
Product worked for what I needed it to. But after very limited use for about 5 months it quit charging.Called Shark customer service and they said that it is covered under warranty but I have to pay for shipping on a single part that they would replace. The shipping cost was half of what I paid for the entire item to begin with, so I declined.I have learned my lesson that Shark warranties are not really warranties per se, but you will also be pulling out your wallet to pay the cost of their poor quality. I would encourage everyone to evaluate this experience before making a decision to purchase.
14 minutes of runtime. 6 hours of charging. lithium batteries were invented to be charged faster than other types, but this charges like it has ancient batteries in it. i can guarantee you the batteries in it can charge at least 10 times faster, safely. this product is hardly worth $5, it’s useless, because when you need it, it’ll be charging. i tried to modify it and gave up when i saw how horrendous the build quality is. it’s disgusting. almost all empty space, tiny PCB, tiny battery pack (just two 18650 cells) and extremely sloppy plastic. this company deserves to fail for releasing a product like this, with a blatantly ludicrous markup. whoever approved this product for sale should be ashamed. avoid avoid avoid !!!source- i’ve been playing with and analyzing ... More14 minutes of runtime. 6 hours of charging. lithium batteries were invented to be charged faster than other types, but this charges like it has ancient batteries in it. i can guarantee you the batteries in it can charge at least 10 times faster, safely. this product is hardly worth $5, it’s useless, because when you need it, it’ll be charging. i tried to modify it and gave up when i saw how horrendous the build quality is. it’s disgusting. almost all empty space, tiny PCB, tiny battery pack (just two 18650 cells) and extremely sloppy plastic. this company deserves to fail for releasing a product like this, with a blatantly ludicrous markup. whoever approved this product for sale should be ashamed. avoid avoid avoid !!!source- i’ve been playing with and analyzing the inner workings of electronics all my life. this is not worth its price, not even 10% of it. i’m throwing mine away, since i voided the warranty.
