Shark Vm252 Vacmop Pro Cordless Hard Floor Vacuum Mop with Disposable Pad, Charcoal Gray

This was one of the best things I have purchased in a while. So easy to use and makes keeping hard floors clean simpler than ever! I use mine every day. Having kids makes this especially useful. A full charge will last around 3-4 days depending on how many messes are made. I’d say constant use, maybe 30-45 min per charge. Suction is really good as is true of most shark vacuum products. The disposable pads/debris catchers hold quite a bit of material while the liquid cleanser reservoir holds an ample amount of solution to last for weeks of floor spot cleaning. I was a bit nervous about the cost of using this but we have found that a single pad can hold quite a bit of debris. One pad can last two weeks if kept dry. Once you start to use the spray it starts to get nasty fast. Depending on the mess you might opt to use paper towels versus using this just to save having to sacrifice the pad. However, we have found that a single box of 10 pads lasts us a few months, so not too bad. Same deal with the spray solution - one tank lasts like a month for us, but that’s just spot cleaning…we don’t use this to mop entire floors or anything too extensive. All in all this was a great purchase. We use this in our household daily for crumbs from granola bars, cheerios, crunched cheese it’s, squished Mms and everything in between. For the price, you clearly can’t beat the convenience factor of this thing. Highly recommend, especially if you have hard floors and kids/pets. This will quickly become a staple item in your household too!

My other favorite thing is regarding the mopping feature. Instead of the bottle of cleaning solution needing to be inserted into the mop, like other similar devices, this cleaning solution is poured directly into the tank attached to the mop. Shark does make cleaning solution specifically for this product and recommends using it, although I like that I can use other floor cleaning solutions with this product if I’m out and need an alternative in a pinch. Overall, I’m really happy with the power effectiveness this VacMop provides.

It fits my needs because prior to purchasing this vacmop, I had to vacuum and then use the steam mop on the floors which took alot of time so I often dreaded the daunting task. Now cleaning is so much simpler. It vacmopped my hardwood floors in 30 mins. I have about 1300 sq ft of hardwood floor space so even though the mop head is not large, it is enough to cover almost the entire space. I set it to recharge since it only lasts 30 mins. I will continue the rest of the floors tomorrow. My only qualm is that you have to have your finger on the trigger continuously for it to vacuum. I have no problem with the manual spray and it does a beautiful job of spray distribution. I used a home made solution of vinegar, rubbing alcohol and water for my floors and the machine did just fine. I look forward to using this product ongoingly. I also would like to see options for a larger mophead to cover more sq footage. Even though this one is great for me, the option to have a larger mophead would be nice. This thing is replacing my robot vacuum which has sat there collecting dust for the past 3 months. It just doesn't go around furniture very well and doesn't vacuum all areas. The robot vacmop also does not do a great job at mopping and it is complicated to change the mop pad. Whereas for the shark vacmop, you can easily change the disposable pads when they get dirty. That is the BEST part of this vacmop. I don't have to touch any dirty mopping pads anymore unlike with my steam mop. I used to have to remove hair (yuck) from the reusable pads before putting them in the washing machine. Now I can retire both the steam mop and the robot vacuum. Thank Goodness and thank you Shark for this genius machine.

I’ve owned this Vacmop for over 3 years now and here’s what I’ve learned. I think this is a great investment! The suction did change on my Vacmop because of user error. My toddler tried to use it without the pad and it suction up chips into the motor. I was able to clean it out enough to be able to continue using it. I wish it came with the availability to open it completely in case this happens to anyone else. The battery life is unmatched! I’ll use it 3 days straight without having to charge it in between. Some downsides is that when I first bought it the pads were thick and durable. After it started getting popular, Shark changed the pads and they are now thin pieces of trash. Can’t love it

It does an ok job. I like that it is cordless and very light. It charged up quickly. I like that it does get under furniture and appliances at least further than a regular broom, mop, or vacuum. Disappointed that it does not scrub and suck. You can either use the spay button or vac button. It either scrubs or sucks. The suction power is meh. This is my bad that I didn’t read closer (I’m blaming the excitement of Black Friday); but I really dislike that the pad/debris capture is disposable. It would not be that difficult to design a reusable piece and send two of those, I hate contributing blatantly to landfills. That said, the pad is lasting longer than I imagined it would. It does fast work cleaning up in entryways (wet paws) and around the pet water bowl, but I actually am sweeping before using it to extend the life of the pad as it will only hold so much debris before needing replacement. So much for replacing my hard floor vacuum and steam cleaner that I thought I could replace with one device. The ease of using it, so light and cordless, are the redeeming features keeping it my limited space right now. Using it daily between monthly deep cleaning is what I’m enjoying most. However, the plug in vac and steam cleaner cannot be retired (never) to this new kid.

Faulty charging adapter-Shark would not replace

I generally am a SHARK fan but this VacMop was a bust. Purchased in December, used once then. After the second charge for this VacMop the charging adapter would not charge. I borrowed my daughter's charger to troubleshoot to see if it was the VacMop or if it was the charging adapter. It charged with her charger. Contacted SHARK and I was asked to "go to your unit and I will call you back and place a video call to you so we can troubleshoot" First of all, my phone doesn't work that way and secondly -trouble shoot what? The charger doesn't charge - you want a video of me plugging it into the wall to prove to you that it won't charge? Love this little wet vac

I have had several of these little vac/mops since they appeared in the shops. I always keep 2 on hand. Of course they are not the best of the vacs but they are light in weight and easy to handle. As an 80 year old that's what I need to clean with. They pick up dirt just fine and they are easy to empty. I like that they have disposable pads. The pop part is great too. Just spray and mop. As a caution, don't vacuum, and mop at the same time. They last a loooong time for the price and are a great value. I use both of mine everyday. Ive heard that the battery doesn't last longer than 20 minutes...such a lie. Mine will vacuum for over an hour. This is a great product. Waste of Money

I bought the VM200 yesterday and tried it today and I am disappointed that it doesn't work as expected. First of all, there are no LED lights on the front. The plastic front of the pad does not attach firmly an comes loose when using. The back of the pad folds up when I draw backwards on the handle. I mostly wanted it for the spray cleaning feature, but it just wets the floor and drags the dirt around on the pad, which is no better than a Swiffer wet-mop. That is what I was trying to replace. When I wiped a small section of the floor after I cleaned it, the paper towel still picked up dirt. I bought it at Walmart and I'm sure they won't take it back since it was opened and used. Definitely NOT pleased with this product.

We Named Our Shark VacMop “Hero”

I have purchased easily a dozen Shark VacMops since my neighbor recommended two years ago. It is easily the most perfectly functioning, well made, easy-to-use appliance I have EVER owned. So I have bought dozens as gifts for my girlfriends. And they’re all ‘converts’, each as thrilled to have a reason to pull out their ‘Hero’ as I am!I literally FEED my Hero, no longer trying to prevent crumbs from falling to the floor when I’m cleaning my counters, I PUSH debris to the floor so I can engage my VacMop! Literally and figuratively … the automatic headlights reveal dust that’s otherwise difficult to see in daylight and makes cleaning beneath furniture easy and gratifying.Not able to say quite enough about the performance, efficiency and ease of operation, it is not hyperbole to add that the Shark VacMop’s contribution to our home is both positive and joyful!Perhaps revealing that I just jettisoned my upright Oreck, my canister Dyson, my Dyson Ball AND my Dyson Stick (all acquired over the years, but each found lacking in numbers of ways) helps demonstrate the devotion (no better word!) to the Shark family of products. For the variety of flooring in our home, I need nothing more than my Shark Ninja for big jobs and deep piles; but I can’t live without my Lil Hero VacMop!

huge disappointment

I'm not sure what I was thinking except maybe that this would be easier than pulling out my mop or maybe something that would clean up spills, but this doesn't do either, really. It does have a vac feature but debris ends up in the disposable filter, not a container that you just empty out. So when do you replace these pads; the instructions are unclear. It all depends on how much you have to clean up but I would could on replacing every 1 or 2 uses in the kitchen.It's not really clear what the vac feature is when you mop. When you use the spray, the filter gets pretty wet quickly as you're spraying the cleaner onto the pad which itself is soaking up excess filter on the floor at the same time. I guess I was thinking this would have a reservoir that I emptied but it doesn't work that way.So if you're using it as a vac, there's not much you can suck up before the pad is full. I suppose you could try emptying the 'dry' stuff out of the pad but then defeats the purpose of not touching it, right. I already have a vacuum and my vac works pretty well even on tile floor so the 'vac' feature is pretty useless to me. If I lived in a small place with only hard floors and I didn't already have a vacuum, would I buy this, no; still no. I only did a small area of my dirty kitchen floor and the disposable pad was pretty trashed and these cost about a dollar a piece and can't be cleaned and reused and are just as easy or hard, depending on your perspective, as something like one of those mops that have a reuseable cloth attached. So why not buy a real vacuum which costs about the same as this gizmo and just needs to be emptied once in a while, and one of those mops with a cloth pad attached. Spills? Use a towel and then throw the towel in the wash.But, there are other issues with this gizmo as well. Since I'm limited for space here, I won't go over the issues except to say the power button is in a ridiculous place and easy to start the vac by mistake because of it. And, the vac only works for 13 mins; says so in the instructions. Not sure how to recharge but it's a lot longer. And, the disposable pad won't stay on correctly. Kept flopping over in half and since it's wet when mopping, can't tape it. Plus if you want to save it for another use, then you've got a wet rag on the floor until then or it dries, which doesn't seem that sanitary. Plus I could not use this without touching the pad so it defeats the purpose.
