Sharp EL240SB Handheld Business Calculator, 8-Digit LCD

This one here is a good calculator. It does its job and its so handy. You can put on your purse anytime anywhere. Its effective it calculating numbers and affordable too. Its not that very expensive. I would definitely recommend it to everyone.

It feels delicate

Ok, it didn't cost a fortune. But it feels a bit delicate for my little one quick fingers. She loves the bip, which is the reason I chose this one. As long as it last I will have a happy child. And delivery speed was superb!

Nice but small

Needed a new calculator ASAP....ordered this one. Did not realize that it was a pocket calculator vs a small desk calculator. Never the less....great item with all the necessary functions.

So partially unhappy camper

Made in China product, battery (it doesn't say how often battery needs to be replaced or where to get batter) but has instructions how to open the unit so I assume batter be found there, at least 844 phone number provided on paper work for whatever. So guess for the price it is acceptable.

Too easy to accidentally change modes

I only have one problem with this calculator but unfortunately it is quite a big one. I keep this calculator in my pocket at work so it's handy for calculating doses (these are drug doses and therefore important). Although it is a tunic pocket and not a tight trouser pocket, the slightest bit of pressure from moving around on a normal working day seems to change the mode on the calculator very easily, F mode, 2 mode and 0 mode. This basically rounds up the decimal point to a different place depending on which mode it is in. To change the mode back is an awkward combination of 2 of the keys (okay anything is simple if you know how, but it's fiddly enough that I have to bring up online instructions each time). I know it is a budget calculator and it is excellent value, but I don't see the point in rounding up the decimal points at all. Leave it as a basic calculator, "warts and all" and then no mistakes can be made. Surely most of us can round up in our heads. We need the calculator for the complex stuff and therefore don't want it simplified.

nice light product

prefer a flat calculator but that is a tiny point . lasrge oblong figures whicb is good for my old eyes but not needed for younger people. But very clear .
