Trigonometry functions don’t seem to work properly.

17 Years

I bought my last Sharp calculator 17 years ago. It was my faithful companion through 5 years as a maths teacher and 12 years as a tutor. It patiently endured being poked by countless students and never failed to give the correct answer. It never needed a battery replacement and all its buttons worked up until the day of its death. I bought my second Sharp calculator about a month ago. So far it is living up to its predecessor's stellar example. If it keeps going, it might even outlive me.

Disgusting

I've had this filthy piece of plastic on my person since 2017. it can barely compute cos*sin*tan3! I am so happy I purchased this and will be sure to use it as much as possible. I am happy to announce it hasn't needed a battery change since 2017.

Great calculator with a strong legacy, good size, robust design and great features.

This series of Sharp Advanced D.A.L. calculators has been going strong for decades. I've had my old one since my GCSEs in 1998 (I got it 2nd hand) and only needed to replace it after I lost it when moving house. This newer model is much the same but with a slightly improved button layout and is "Recommended for GCSE" as well as being very easy to use and edit calculations and formulae in my daily work as an electrical engineer. I'm looking forward to another 23 years of service from this new one, although the white colour may need a clean or two in that time!

I've had my Sharp EL-531TH Scientific Calculator since 2017 - it's worked for me through thick and thin, performing trigonometric functions, helping me to add, subtract, divide and multiply. Today, over 5 years later she finally took her last breath - no longer does the warm tinge of electricity buzz through her circuits, no longer does her display illuminate the numbers and functions required for me to work.It's been good, and I would whole heartedly recommend this product to anyone.Maybe in the next life we'll meet again...

Useful Scientific calculator.

I have used Sharo scientific calculators for more than 30 years and this one does everything for GCSE maths and onwards. Contact feel is light and the operation is straight forward. Approved for exam use so it is ideal for a starter as well as more chalenging tasks. Altogether a good buy for little money.

absolute trash

this calculator is so cheap and useless, not even fractions are rendered, neither do the trig functions work, neither do the log functions work.

it a good calculator except for the when it displaying like 2 day and 5 hour and however much minutes. it doesn't tell you that its day min an second
