These are fantastic acrylic paint pens that need no “priming” like Posca pens do. so, no puddling gush of ink that happens with other paint or chalk pens. I needed a pen that would be opaque over paint for my first graders to use to decorate an art project. In the past, I’ve wanted to let them use chalk, pens, or acrylic Posca pens, but I knew it would be a giant mess and those pens are so expensive and I thought they would get ruined. Enter the sharpie creative marker. The students were able to use them easily with no puddling ink or paint. They did not ruin the tips. I tried on coloring book first to get an idea, but then wrote on a coffee mug as well. The colors are bold and vibrant. They have a chalk paint type feel after used and dried quickly. Once dried on the coffee mug, it did not smear off by hand easily, but will smear over time and if washed without a proper sealing. Definitely will be using this in more craft projects very soon.The markers are thicker and easier to hold, the caps click on to the bottom of the marker and there is a color marker line on the pens that still shows when the caps are on the back as well. Very helpful if you are switching back and forth between a few colors during a project.

I was super excited to try out these Sharpie markers as I love anything made by thr sharpie brand. I was so impressed at how well these work. I have used them on paper and wood so far and they work great and didn't bleed through paper at all which is something that you don't see very often when using markers. The color showed up very brightly regardless of the material that I used the marker on and it hasn't faded. I really love that you don't have to do anything extra to get these to work like other paint markers. You just open them and use them. One tip that I will give it to make sure when you put them up or store them that you do so horizontally. It even says so on the package. These markers are great and I would purchase them in other colors as well.

This product works like a paint pen. It’s for a completely different use than the traditional sharpie marker.It is water based and takes a little longer to dry. I use these on paper, canvas and glass. You can use them by themselves or in combination with other art mediums. Wet markings can be wiped off of many surfaces. Dried markings can be scraped off of a smooth, hard, surfaces.The white marker really pops dark surfaces and glass. One pass usually isn’t thick enough, you can redraw over prior the color when it dries.I also use them to sign paintings and drawings when a traditional sharpie doesn’t work.

I love to design mugs and be creative. These sharpie with the bullet tip makes it easy for me to do so. I designed a mug with liquid paint color and a paint brush and it was not easy. It’s a messy process and it’s hard to get clean lines. Well with these sharpie it was easy for me to put my name on my mug handle, a very narrow spot and write on the mug too. I have a few more mugs to design, I will definitely be using these sharpie, I need to get to more colors.The colors are good, paint-like ink the description says which is awesome.
