Sharpie ultra-fine-point permanent markers are incredibly versatile and useful for a wide range of tasks. They fit comfortably in my hand and are easy to write with. I particularly appreciate the fine-point tip, which consistently creates thin, precise lines. These markers dry quickly and resist smudging, water, and fading. The 36-count pack offers great value, and I'm pleased that they are non-toxic. Overall, these markers are fantastic.

Sharpie used to have a [extra] fine tip that was nylon. These lasted a lot longer. These pens come with a felt tip which I knew when I order. I'll have some in the garage for marking lines when cutting wood, but I know the felt tip will get smooshed out and wear down drawing lines on wood. Like Sharpies for drawing lines on wood because of the high contrast of the dark black ink. That use consumes a lot of ink (long drawing lines, soaks into wood), so I don't expect them to last long, but they were a good price (97 cents apiece). Still, I really would like Sharpie to return to having nylon tips except for the larger nib sizes.

I recently started buying these ultra fine point markers as I needed a more affordable set for traditional inking of my artwork. After using them for about for months, I'm very happy with the results I've received. The ink is truly black and the marker flows smooth on my sketchbook paper. The only downsides are msinly that there is no description on the point size of the marker compared to the competitors. And that the ink sort of flows it a bit too quick, leading to a few uneven lines. Not a deal-breaker, but worth noting in my usage.Other than that, this is a great product for illustrators & traditional artists who want high quality while in a budget
Unfortunately I purchased 5 ultra fine tip packeges and 3 large tipped markers & noticed that i received only large ones when I got home. I went back to staples (up Wentworth) to see if they had any ‘Ultra Fine Tip’ in house. And they did not. I was disappointed but did not bother to ask for refund. I do shop at Staples often and am usually very happy with the merchandise and workers. Lee Munn
I recently purchased 2 packages of these markers. I purchased the second package a couple of weeks after I bought the first one, because I thought the first package was a dud, but I had the same result with both packages. Within a week of being opened, every marker in each package was completely dry, without ever being used. I store these upright, cap on, tip down, in a container in a sheltered area (not exposed to light or heat or ceiling fans) in my living room. Other markers which I store in that same place write just fine but these, although expensive, are WORTHLESS. I've attached a photo showing my attempt to use a newly opened Sharpie on the left in contrast with a 6-month old different brand stored in the same location. Don't waste your money on these ... MoreI recently purchased 2 packages of these markers. During COVID when my 89 year old Mom was in isolation, she discovered adult coloring. She soon realized that the only markers that were perfect were Sharpie ultra fine. She not only colors to decorate her room but she also distributes her masterpieces to her friends in her assisted living center to cheer them up. She has so many Sharpies on her kitchen table that there is little room to eat! We would love to share a video that she recently recorded. Please consider her for the gift certificate award as she certainly puts your markers to great use. She is one of Sharpie markers biggest fans!
I love how fine this is and how solid the lines are. Very reliable. Use it almost every day marking things and writing stuff on surfaces where a regular ballpoint pen won't write on. Highly recommend. I keep one on my desk, bag, various places in our household so that I can grab and use any time for marking and writing on things!
These ULTRA FINE POINT black markers have many uses, even writing inside birthday cards and making notes. They don't smudge and with that ultra fine point, it is easy to read writing. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 star rating, is that it shows through to the other side of the paper, so you can only use one side, unless it's really thick paper or file cards.
These markers are great and permanent (depending on the surface, they will eventually wear off. For example, they wear off on composite stone beads). However, once uncapped and lightly used, they dry very quickly.... in about a couple of months despite being recapped tightly. The staples brand RED are MUCH better and don't dry for more than a year. But, there were none of these on the shelf so I had to buy Sharpie brand.
