Shell Helix HX7 10W-40 Engine Oil SN+ 5L - 310278135

If you have the bmw m235i you know how fantastic it is! But if I had one complaint it would be the car doesn't sound as fast as it goes. So I found ML Performances and looked into this rear box delete. It sounds amazing! It's a must have product! The quality of the pipe work and welding is unmatched, It fits well also. Depending on your preference the tips provided are fine for the price but the ends of the tips where not rolled and where clean cut.. meaning they where pretty sharp so amending this is important if you dont want to cut yourself when washing the car. Also be aware the sound is very cool but you may come across a little bit of drone.. its expected but two ways to fix this is by when at low speeds just easing off the throttle a little more than you ... MoreIf you have the bmw m235i you know how fantastic it is! And when in sport mode (the pops are like gun shots) it's best to remove the exhaust audio fuse as it causes drone. Ps its unlikely to pass an mot, best to know your mot garage well or keep the old silencer and swap it back over for test.

All good, not seized yet....

So far so good...hasn' lt seized so must be working? It has a lovely golden colour and pours nicely with the aid of a quickly home made funnel, aroma was synthetic with a hint mineral but I could be wrong there, the oil seems to be doing a great job so far, the mighty Hyundai 1.6 spinning freely to redline with the help of Shell Helix....I must also mention the genuine oil filter that again seems to be performing perfectly...

Excellent oil. Using in a Custom Tuned 3Lt D4D motor on 17psi with original 417,000km. Engine and Turbo run quieter and smoother. Engine runs sightly cooler which in turns helps keep egt down. Winner All Round!

Great Oil with Oil Filter for $ 50 ! Excellent !

Excellent price and quality Oil, my 1.3 ltr is purring nicely after the fresh oil change. The Oil filter was $15 and the Oil change with filter was done for $50. This will make my next 5,000 km very smooth. Cheers SuperCheap Auto !

Great for a Camry

I've recently switched to this oil for the warmer months in my '05 Camry.I was a little perplexed by various sources on what grade to run. My Camry has 308,000Km on it, original engine, and it still runs great.Some people say 5W 30 all the way. But the manual indicates that 5W 30 is good if it's going to be -29 degrees C and a top of 10. Well, it's not going to be that cold, is it? This isn't Siberia.Engine idles very smoothly, the seep through the valve cover has slowed a great deal, top ups are less, and fuel economy is where it was before.And if you change your oil and filter regularly like you should (every six months, no questions), semi-synthetic oils are just fine in my opinion.

I've got great confidence in this oil, I've used it for our shopping car annual oil change for more than a decade. Oil stays clean (which may say more about the condition of the engine) the car is always garaged and sometimes operates in warmer conditions so I think the mix of 10w40w suits our climate

She’ll Engine oil

She’ll synthetic 10w/40 motor oil gives better performance to my engine. synthetic oil is better for than conventional oil. Although conventional oil (i.e., mineral oil) can provide adequate lubrication performance, it can't compete with the overall engine performance and protection provided by synthetics. Underrated oil

My car has done 240000km I've had it since new. My dealership used this oil so I stuck to it. After warranty ran out.i started changing the oil my self I'll only ever use . Shell. When I take the engine oil cap off and look inside the engine has no sludgeOr varnish it looks factory new. It's a semi synthetic oil but I think it's very underrated. It basically burns no oil for it's mileage. I'll only ever use Shell helix in my cars

I've always bought this oil when it's %40 off when I can. This is the first time I've had it delivered. The carton was in good condition.I've used shell helix for 8 years . I've used it since my car was brand new under warranty. I found out the dealer used shell helix. I felt 15k for oil was a long interval. Id change it in between services at 7500k with genuine filters.
