Some 12 months ago after several years use and the beginnings of evident wear I wished to replace my Sheridan 1000's sheet sets and thought to try linen sets of another brand of which I purchased 2 sheet sets. My linen sheet sets did not live up to my expectations with the sheets having a "thin"feel about them and not delivering the comfort which I had expected so I was very happy to return tothe 1000's Sheridan sheet set which I bought recently and find them so much more comfortable thanmy linen ones and that they have helped give me a better sleep each night. I may have had a happier experience if I had bought Sheridan linen but I don't recall that it was being promoted at the time of my then purchase.

I first purchased this HW Sheet Set around a year ago; had decided to spoil ourselves-and get proper sized White sheets for our super king Bed. First impressions were quality of fabric, precise straight stitching, satiny feel, not thin or slippery. The fitted sheet was generous, deep, making the bed was easier. I have been using these sheets most of the time- washing and drying and replacing them on the same day, whenever possible. We’ve had these sheets for a while now, and can say that they have only gotten softer with time. However, we purchased the set in the colour “Dove” which looks absolutely nothing like how it is pictured. In real life, the colour is more like lavender - a pale purple. It’s so different that I had to check the tag against the receipt; I thought I had been shipped the wrong one. We would have much preferred the shade pictured, but given the effort of returning, we just stuck with them. I have to mark them down quite a lot for this, because they are an expensive investment (Super King) and the colour range is very limited.

This is the third set of Hotel Weight Luxury 1000TC sheet sets I have bought from Myer over the years. I love the luxury of slipping between these sheets each night. They’re a glorious weight and breathe beautifully across all seasons. I like to iron the pillow slips and flat sheet for that crisp hotel look and feel but find that the creases in the flat sheet after tumble drying on low can sometimes be hard to iron out. Overall, for luxurious comfort and appearance, these sheet sets are divine!
this is now the 2nd set of these sheets that i have purchased and on the whole I am completely happy. I do have a problem with the flat sheet in the set. i purchased the sets with the 50cm allowance for the fitted sheet, allowing for the larger mattress. what you do not allow for is extra width of the flat sheet. both my flat sheets just touch the edge of base of the mattress, there is no way I can tuck them in - therefore they always look messy and the bed not made. I would suggest if you sell a set of sheets for a 50cm base mattress, you also think about the larger top mattreses.
Whilst the fabric is good quality, the fit is not. The flat sheet barely has anything to tuck in on the sides and the fitted sheet is a struggle to put on it is so tight. My mattress is a standard queen size and does not have a pillow top. Sheridan need to be more generous with the amount of fabric they use. In addition to this Sheridan took 10 days before they even shipped the sheets and then I had to wait for Australia Post to deliver. These sheets were for a guest bedroom. The guests had come and gone before the sheets arrived. No one from Sheridan could tell me when my goods would ship despite me contacting them multiple times.
Luxurious, surprisingly soft and perfect for winter, these Sheridan 1000TC Sheet Set are my favourite sheets for this season. Nice weight top sheet, not too heavy and feels nice on skin. The colour is so soft... barely there. The top sheet is sized generously - no issues tucking in. The 40cm fitted sheet perfect for my mattress. Look fantastic with my older Sheridan quilt covers. For luxurious and well made, long lasting sheets Sheridan is always a standout. Competitive price at Sheridan concession at Myer. All round perfect purchase.
I have had Sheridan 1000 tc hotel quality sheets for many years , and have loved them, BUT I have to say that these last two sets that I have purchased have not been as smooth and luxurious as they were, which is very disappointing!!They are just not as smooth, and fine against the skin as all my previous ones were!! I am sadly disappointed, I have reverted to the old ones, which feel so lovely . I don’t know what you have done, but don’t!! Go back to what you did in the the past!!I sleep naked, have for 25 years, so the quality feel of the sheets is very important to me. So sorry that you have changed the sheets!

This year I looked up Myers Online again, hoping to order another Hotel weight 1000 count sheet set. Was delighted to see they are still available ( made in a country which recently is not happy with us). I purchased another white colour set; now can take one set off to wash-and replace it with the set in the cupboard. I have tried a couple of different brands which have been great but the Sheridan sheets are by far the best. I think that people may be mislead by what the term "hotel quality" means. The sheets used in hotels feel crisp and heavy, which is why people love them they also have starch added. If you want a truely soft feel perhaps try the bamboo.......Also the brand is significant as it's easy to be dupped not all 100% high TC is the same
