Some 12 months ago after several years use and the beginnings of evident wear I wished to replace my Sheridan 1000's sheet sets and thought to try linen sets of another brand of which I purchased 2 sheet sets. My linen sheet sets did not live up to my expectations with the sheets having a "thin"feel about them and not delivering the comfort which I had expected so I was very happy to return tothe 1000's Sheridan sheet set which I bought recently and find them so much more comfortable thanmy linen ones and that they have helped give me a better sleep each night. I may have had a happier experience if I had bought Sheridan linen but I don't recall that it was being promoted at the time of my then purchase.

I first purchased this HW Sheet Set around a year ago; had decided to spoil ourselves-and get proper sized White sheets for our super king Bed. First impressions were quality of fabric, precise straight stitching, satiny feel, not thin or slippery. The fitted sheet was generous, deep, making the bed was easier. I have been using these sheets most of the time- washing and drying and replacing them on the same day, whenever possible. These sheets have coped perfectly, still look great, highly recommend.My husband suggested we get a second Sheet Set-So I went to re-order. The only sets left this past Christmas in our size happened to be the pale blue colour. No problem-when it arrived, it was so pale, that it almost looked cream coloured. Nice. We’ve had these sheets for a while now, and can say that they have only gotten softer with time. However, we purchased the set in the colour “Dove” which looks absolutely nothing like how it is pictured. In real life, the colour is more like lavender - a pale purple. It’s so different that I had to check the tag against the receipt; I thought I had been shipped the wrong one. We would have much preferred the shade pictured, but given the effort of returning, we just stuck with them. I have to mark them down quite a lot for this, because they are an expensive investment (Super King) and the colour range is very limited.
