Beautiful sheeting, I took it out of the packet and fitted it onto my bed BEFORE washing. It fitted perfectly with no tugging or pulling. After wash it is now SUPER tight and a struggle. This will mean the elastic will not last. Years ago Sheridan sheeting was all pre-shrunk? Had I known this amount of shrinkage would happen I would've ordered the deeper fitted sheet.

In 2019, I purchased the Sheridan Millennia Bed Collection including the Quilt Cover and 2 x Fitted Sheets. From the first night they felt so soft, luxurious and breathable that the price was well worth it. I still have them today.Coming around to 2022, I have just purchased another Sheridan Millennia Quilt Cover (Order # 402206812 dated 21 Nov 22). What a disappointment. I have my 2019 and 2022 purchases side-by-side. The drop in quality is terrible.The newest Quilt Cover feels rough and cardboard-like. It's still advertised by Sheridan as 'superior long staple cotton' but I believe this is misleading advertising. We have been buying their 1200 thread count sheets for over 16 years and this last purchase will be out last. The fitted sheet feels nothing like all of our previous fitted sheets. It's scratchy and harsh like hessian. I haven't changed my detergent or washing process. I still have another Queen fitted sheet that's 2 years old and it is still as soft as silk (like all of their normal 1200 thread count products). We really notice it when we change from the old sheet to the new one. I have a feeling Sheridan is cost-cutting and possibly has changed manufacturers.

Palais range is the best bed linen weâve ever slept in. Youâd think 100% cotton would be difficult to launder, but the 1200 thread count always irons up beautifully. Even my 4 year old Palais sheets are like new, hotel quality sheets every night! Donât ever discontinue the Palais range!
CREASES APPALLINGLY. Hope this helps someone else avoid being stuck with expensive, high maintenance, port quality bed linen. Advised by Sheridan when informed if issue after first wash (done per their instructions on label) that this creasing is ânormalâ when correctly laundered, and now will need to be ironed (first advice was âdo not ironâ, followed by apology for âwrong adviceâ), I would never have purchased this if this requirement was indicated on the label. As if I want to iron an entire set of king size bed linen each time I wash it! Refund not offered despite product not of quality expected. The Sheridan millennia sheets are amazing in quality. They feel luxurious and they last a long time. I have had the european pillowslips for over ten years and they look and feel as they did when they were new. Well worth investing in.
Can not go wrong with Sheridan Palais sheets. I purchase the set piece by piece until I have the set. This is the start of my third set. Once slept in these sheets there is nothing to compare them with. Complete luxury. Easily laundered and each time the sheets etc develop a beautiful sheen. Highly recommend the Palais range
Millennia tailored pillowslips are of amazing quality. They look great on the bed, and having previously purchased the european cases over ten years ago, they will look and feel still as new, years later. A worthwhile investment, that saves money in the long term, as they wonât need replacing as often as cheaper quality linen
Winter is like 7th heaven with Millennia and I think would be a 5 star hotel/motel item. Itâs my favourite bedding fabric, as the TC helps for comfort. đ I also find to be marvellous if just before bed youâre extremely tired, thus constantly yawning and struggling to keep your eyes open, because as soon as you get into bed youâre literally falling asleep, trouble free. Happened to me last night, and my sleep was fantastic. Awoke Motherâs Day and was happy all day. Theyâre great comfort too when slept on for approximately 2 weeks, as long as the 1st clean night youâre clean to go with it, as this increases the comfort. Youâll know when the wash is due up as the comfort/feel texture changes. In winter they dry quick through dryer also. The only real issue with Millennia is summer - the TC can cause bed sweating, an unpleasant feeling and a quicker wash cycle. I usually therefore only sleep with top sheet over me in the summer, but the comfort is still there - if the heat arrives, just flick off to the legs/feet. As for Sheridan, which provides this brand, I recommend them to everyone as their items are a 20/10 for quality and their prices are sensible and sensational with the regular 40% off sales, as well as giving registered customers a birthday gift. It would be nice to see Sheridan make items for the kitchen, such as tea towels.
I have been buying millennia sheets for over 10 years. The last few purchases has had some problems. The King flat sheet was not as wide as it should be - after discussion with sheridan it was replaced and they agreed the size was not correct. Now I have notice my flat sheet which i purchased 18 months ago is fraying on the top - the part you see the most. They are expensive sheets so I expect better - the quality does not seem the same as it was 5 years ago.
