I adore the 1200TC range and really hope that Sheridan continues to make it. The fabric is crisp with with beautiful drop, feels wonderful to the touch and washes like a dream
Luxurious feel and simple but elegant style. I love it. The only problem was that I didn't realise it didn't come with pillow cases (most quilt covers do), and I had to buy them separately. Made the whole purchase more expensive than I was planning for, so be aware.
The bedspread was lovely quality and design, however the colour midnight blue was nearly black and did not suit our decor. I have since returned the bedspread and pillows. Myer returns department have been very helpful and I am currently waiting my refund.
Whilst expensive, the quality still represents good value for money. The thread count uses the 10cm^2 system instead of the square inch, the conversion being 800TC equivalent. The duvet cover is quite heavy compared to lower TC products, but this adds to the comfort. The border is extra material to the cover itself, acting like a draft excluder!
I love the feel of this bed linen, the colour is stunning - so rich and luxurious. Pairs beautifully with my white and my patterned navy blue doona covers as well. Instantly brings a sense of calm sliding in between the covers of this linen.
I brought this material around 4 months ago. The feel of the fabric is luxurious and heavy. And the material goes soft after every wash. The disadvantage of this material is after using the quilt cover, the material gets very crumpled giving the bed a very untidy look. No matter how you try to put out the creases it just won't go away.
Bought this expecting it to be luxurious hotel quality sheets. The fabric is nice and soft but it is very thick and is almost like newspaper. I would have gotten something different had i known how thick and scratchy they would be. Being a 1200 thread count they are extremely heavy to make the bed. I am only 22 years old so i can imagine how heavy it would be for someone older.
