I bought the Abbotsford flat sheet and pillow cases but chose a fitted commercial quality sheet after reading the reviews of the Abbotsford fitted sheets wearing and splitting within 6 to 12 months. The linen sheets were really lovely to sleep in but wore into holes within 2 years of use. We only use them in winter and have two sets and they were always washed on the gentle cycle and line dried. These are the most expensive sheets I have bought. I have loved Sheridan sheets since I bought my first set in 1982! I have replaced them with Belgian linen sheets from a family run eco online store in Sydney that cost under $100 per sheet. I have had many sets of Sheridan cotton sheets that have lasted much longer than the Abbotsford Linen.

Love linen - on the skin it is cool in summer and warm in winter. Like its look and feel (more textured feel than cotton). Not sure that it is as durable as cotton. Most recent sheet/pillowcases were not as generously made as earlier ones - the 'cuff' is narrower.

I decided to refresh our bed linen and give our bedroom a lift. I purchased the ink and the gold flat sheets, fitted sheets and two ink pillowcases, plus a gold cushion as well as two doona covers. Quite a haul and the sale prices certainly helped make the decision. So, the sheets and pillow cases - all in sumptuous linen that feels fabulous and make a wonderful splash of colour for a change from our usual white. With contrasting doona covers to the coloured sheets, they look a million dollars. I love the Abbotsford linen, I can’t speak highly enough of the range. I look forward to how the linen will soften further as we use it. Definitely a five star range from Sheridan.

We purchased a set of these linen sheets approx 12 months ago. Very disappointed to find a hole that had worn on the fitted sheet. When I called Sheradin, Angela said this was to be expected when they are constantly used. She suggested that when purchasing 100% linen sheets you should always but two sets. So they will then last longer. If only I could another $600 to spend on a set of sheets. Very disappointed and a long time customer of what was once a high quality product.
I bought my second fitted sheet in 2019 after the first one wore through within 12 months of purchase. I thought that Linen was a hardy material and was advised by the retail staff that it was probably a one off so thought I would take the chance again as it hasn’t happened to the pillow slips or flat sheet.I have always laundered as per the staff’s instructions and they are washed and placed in the bed for a week, once every three weeks as I rotate between 2 other sheet sets.Alas, again the sheet has started to wear through. Such a disappointment. I would expect them to last longer that 2 years as I have other sets of linen that still look as good as they day I bought them more than 10 years ago. All sheets and bedding have been washed and cared for appropriately. I have no issues with an other parts of the set, it is simply the sheets which are clearly faulty.
I have owned many brands of sheets but Sheridan linen was the most disappointing. For such an expensive product I expected it to last longer than 3 years. I use flannelette sheets for winter and sateens in summer so my linen sheets were rotated and not used exclusively. I followed the care instructions but the threads on the fitted sheet just split apart and holes appeared. I don't recommend this product as good value for money or as being well made. Staff in the Sheridan shop were not helpful when I took the sheet back to enquire if it was faulty, saying "You can feel the good quality" yet "3 years is good for a sheet". Not when you don't use them all the time it isn't. Very dissapointing.
Love this range as love the linen feel. Disappointed that I’ve heard that the king size bed collection may be discontinued. While I have the entire lot for now, will need to continue upgrading. I only use the white range.
i bought these sheets for my daughter and she is absolutely thrilled with them and could not wait to use them. They are a good weight but also have a silky feel. I not only bought the flat and fitted sheet I also bought the sheet set with two pillow slips. They were on special so I was lucky to get two sets of sheets and two pillow slips for half price. Great Buy for a wonderful product.
my daughter was absolutely thrilled to get these sheets for her birthday and couldn't wait to try them, they are a good weight also have a nice silky feeling. the added plus was that were on special so i purchased a flat and fitted sheet also a set of sheets with pillow slips. A bargain four sheets and two slips for the price of one set.
