As an asthmatic I can only have polyester and I am pleased the quilt has puffed up, its light in weight, warm and looks great on my new king bed. I also decided to purchase the super king size so that it generously covers the entire bed.

I bought this on sale it was half price and a real bargain for such a comfortable doona. It’s lightweight yet keeps you very warm during winter and is designed to keep you cool in summer. Easy to wash.
I washed my Sheridan Dream Quilt as per laundering guidelines. Unfortunately I ended up with a horrible lumpy quilt. Instead of the fill staying in place it lumped to one side of the squares - totally unusable. Sheridan has replaced the quilt which was great but I am now hesitant to use the replacement as undoubtedly at some stage it will have to be laundered as I have small grandchildren and they have accidents.
I really love this- the weight is great. It’s not too warm either- just right. It’s soft- and the reason I bought it, besides it being on sale, is the face that I’d filled with a down substitute! I hate down. If it didn’t have that ugly S logo all over it and was just plain white, I’d have given it a 5 star rating. All in all, you can’t go wrong with this one. Excellent buy.
I have this quilt in both the Queen and now a single bed size. It is a beautiful, light weight and excellent quality polyester quilt. We can’t use feather due to allergies so this is the next best choice for a light weight yet warm quilt. Love it! It really does feel like feather/down even though it’s not
I'm sure that, as a quilt, it's an effective doona. However, it's very noisy. I tried it out, to make sure that it was an effective quilt for my guest bedroom... Every time I moved, it made a crinkling noise that is counterproductive to a quiet sleep. I bought this quilt assuming that it would be similar in quality to the last two. Unfortunately, it's not really what I wanted and now I can't return it (understandably). Admittedly, it's for my guest bedroom, but what if their sleep is interrupted by the 'squeaky' quilt? I'm at a loss. I should have stuck with what I bought last time (a wool quilt) but, they weren't available when I decided to buy a new quilt for downstairs... I'm a bit at a loss.
I don't know why I have been putting up with being cold at night for so long and having several blankets and a hot water bottle! This quilt is absolutely beautiful! Soft, warm and light weight! .. And I don't need anything else on the bed, just the quilt!I was tossing up between the micro fibre and the feather (mainly because I thought the feather may be a concern for the allergy sufferer) but not the case at all.I ended up buying the microfibre for the other bed and it's almost as good but not quite as warm (still no additional blankets though). You just can't mimic the natural fibres of the feather!
I love this quilt. Although light feeling it is very warm. These are the only quilts we have in our household. I finally convinced my son to buy this one to replace his heavy wool quilt that kept on falling off his bed. He absolutely loves this quilt and yes, it doesn't fall off his bed! You will not be disappointed with this purchase. I highly recommend it.
