I have washed these towels as per instructions and after about 20 washes I’m still getting so much fluff come off in the wash. I will never buy these towels again and they were expensive. I complained to Sheridan attached my receipt and they gave me a credit for one towel. I purchased 4 bath towels and 3 hand towels. I have to pick the fluff off every towel after every wash. The credit for one towel was also placed on Sheridan online, there is no product on this site.

My bathroom, my bedroom, my hair, my life... absolutely covered in black fluff! Even after repeated washing. This is as bad as an $8 towel I bought from K-mart, if not worse, and completely unacceptable for a premium product. As well as the fluff, these towels are made from tiny loops that are only loosely woven and pull through at the slightest provocation, leaving you with inch-long strings hanging off your brand new towel!I have some older, similar towels, that didn't have these problems, so I wonder what cost-cutting has occurred in the intervening years. Will be looking for a new towel brand, and I suggest you do the same.

Having been given Sheridan towels as a wedding gift 24yrs ago, it was hard not to pass this sensational bargain on my most favourite, luxurious towels. The colour is just gorgeous in our bathroom, just perfect for our neutral colour scheme.Nothing beats stepping out of the shower & standing on a Sheridan bath mat & wrapping yourself in the bath sheet. Almost my favourite purchase of the year.

By far one of the best quality and textured towel range. The design is super absorbent and they live up to their name by adding gorgeous texture for practicality of drying you effectively and quickly just by wrapping yourself in it really! and without that annoying strip of ‘decorative’ design across a towel that most cheaper towels have that is normally irritating on skin and non-absorbent. They add that plush luxury texture look to a bathroom too, I also bought the hand towels and face washers, and went to purchase more as they were that good so I could always have them in bathroom when others are being washed, really worth spending the money on these, you won’t be disappointed. I bought carbon colour bath towel, and washed it with wool mode in washing machine and did dry with dryer.After shower when I wipe my body all black dust covered my arms. I was shocked. So I 2 times more wash and dry with dryer for dust removal. Dust bit reduced but still comes out when I wipe wet area. Can't believe this it $50 towel quality. I don't know the other colours but carbon is worst.
I had previously bought the Living Textures towels in Misty Teal and was very happy with them. They had a firm texture and were super absorbent. I recently bought some of these towels in Peppermint and the fibre/yarn used is different. It is now fluffy, not firm like my previous towels and I find it doesn't absorb water as easily. If I wanted a fluffy towel that was softer to touch then I would have bought something fluffy but I like the firm feel that sucks the water up. I wonder if 100% 'hygro' cotton really means 100% cotton or not, because the new Peppermint bath towel does not feel like pure cotton.
Sheridan Towels are amazing and I swear by them! They feel luxurious without the price tag of unaffordable, there is a towel colour, size and style to suit every bathroom style and colour, whether a modern home or a 100yr old home like mine, the colour never fades even after drying in the Australian sunshine and after 50 washes not a thread has pulled, or frayed. My sister stayed 3 weeks over Christmas and loved my carbon Sheridan bath sheets so much, she packed and took them to Perth. I just HAD to REBUY the same towels. They are a staple in my home.
I have always bought Sheridan Towels; they cost more but in the long run, they lasted for years, were made of good quality cotton and kept their colour.I bought these towels June 2022, have washed them every week for since and they are still pilling. The fine blue fluff gets everywhere. Maybe I just got a bad batch, but I will never buy these towels again.
I followed the washing instructions from the Sheridan website to the letter twice. Absolutely covered in thick fluff and all throughout my washing machine. The dryer filter was full in 20 minutes with two towels. One towel had come apart at the stitching on the edge leaving a big dangling bit that I cut out. I wasnt having success so I gave them to the opportunity shop. They looked lovely and I was extremely disappointed with the outcome.
These towels are very nice and soft, the teal colour is beautiful. The towels not as quick drying as I had hoped, but still better than regular towels. The towels are colourfast in wash. They do loose a lot of lint in the dryer, but still don't seem to become thinner. The towels absorb water from body easily and are of very good quality, i would definitely recommend these towels to anyone
