I have been purchasing this towel range for many years now and am never disappointed. They last well, stay soft and fluffy for a long time, and are very cost effective.My disappointment comes from the fact that when I purchase them in store I am asked to buy a (Myer-branded) paper bag in which to carry them which would cost me a not very high amount but is all advertising for Myer. However, if I had ordered the same towels etc online, they would have been delivered to my house in a box, free of charge. I fail to see the logic in that situation, as the free delivery would have cost Myer a lot more than the dreadful paper bag they wanted me to buy at the store. Great quality! Have been buying these for years. Soft, absorbent and luxurious. The reason I only gave 4 stars is the quantity of labels. The Sheridan name on the hanging loop is ok. The sewn on label on the front is superfluous and showy. I spent an hour taking those off. And finally, I didn't see the sewn in PAPER labels on the rear. The first washing (straight out of the box) the paper dissolved in the washer and coated the towels in paper pulp!

I am so impressed with these towels. Obviously it’s Sheridan so the quality is amazing. The photos don’t do them justice. The colour is stunning. I wanted sage towels but I was hoping they weren’t too green. These almost have a soft grey taupe undertone to them so it’s more of a soft dirty sage. PERFECT!

No pilling, soft and thick. Great for intended purpose! Love the colour too - we choose Dew. Was tempted by Australian cotton which seemed fluffier but choose Egyptian based on our 16 year old Sheridan towels which are Egyptian cotton and are still excellent.
Disappointed in the cardboard tags - 3 came off ok but the 4th ripped the seam apart and I had to sew it up. For the money, I would have preferred a small material tag with washing instructions not a QR code! The colour carbon is disappointing in its lack of softness - would not recommend the Retreat range - not luxury that’s for sure. The Luxury Egyptian range is soft
We have a very large family, so Christmas shopping in particular, can be quite stressful. This year, I've bought Sheridan towels on sale and 1250 count Egyption cotton sheets for those with houses to run. As usual, my orders arrived promptly & the goods are of the highest quality. No postage charges either. I always know I'll get quality through Myer & their online shopping is super easy.
These are THE best towels I have ever purchased/used. They are luxuriously soft, thick, beautifully absorbant and remain so against our hard, heavily chlorinated water. I wasnt sure as the water where I live has "hardened" other brand named towels. This collection from Sheridan has remained soft. They are simply gorgeous. I bought one set to see how they would go and have just purchased another set following a few washes and outside line drying. Highly recommended.
Beautiful towels. BUT why have they started to sew a large Sheridan label on the front of every item? Talk about over-kill. It is not necessary because the brand information is on the reverse of every towel. They completely spoil the look and I have to resort to unpicking every one before use. PLEASE stop doing this. But for this I would have given 5 stars.
This towelset is just devine. They are so soft and cuddly. The face washers were so soft and usable after just one wash; as were the towels. Our first set that have ever done that. Most towels that we have bought up to now are hard, and don't dry you after first wash. Some for many washes.
Worst towels I’ve ever used. Absolutely unusable. They won’t stop shedding - every time I shower I’m covered head to toe in towel fuzz. I have never seen towels that shed this much. I thought it’d go away after a few washes but no - it’s only getting worse.Myer refuses to replace these towels so now I’m stuck with 6 towels that are completely unusable. I don’t understand how they’re selling this garbage. Save yourself some dollars and buy literally anything else.
