Rod is awesome not too soft and not too hard which makes it feels every bite and when fish on the rod can handle with ease. Using a 4000 reel which balances it out and casting is a breeze.The only downside is as a 2 piece only the handle can be removed not in the middle and this makes it difficult to put inside the car, total length is 6 foot which i find is too long.

Just an awesome ultra light rod. From flicking plastics, to jigging and everything in between. Do yourself a favour and pair it with a Vanford 2500 or 3000. Its perfectly weighted. Only criticism is its a 1 piece.

Great build quality and very comfortable in the hands. If you're looking at getting into gear on the premium side of things, the Zodias is a good place to start.I have this paired with a stradic CI4+ 2500 on 6lb braid and leader and it's my main setup for targeting the bread and butter species in Sydney estuaries.
what can i say but best rod ever it nice and light with lots of power
Took it out on my first lockdown session. The rod’s weight is pretty balanced and around 95grams (lighter than lots of rods in similar price range). No problem with working jighead between 1/16oz and onwards. Instant hooked on a 45cm travelly after couple casts and landed it with no dramas.
Top quality softbait rod which has been the most sensitive rod I have used. Great service with fishing rods well packaged in a box and delivered promptly. Have already landed a couple of good snapper on the Zodias rod from my kayak. Thanks
Bought this rod recently and have used it a few times now chasing Tasmanian bream.It feels very light in hand and you feel every knock or nibble.I paired it up with a Shimano Vanford 1000 reel and it balances perfectly.Highly recommended .
Great rods. I use the ultra light version.I have 2 of them. Broke one. My fault. Poking a lure off a snag. Replaced it with same.Ideal for EP lure fishing.
