Good product and matches the image. It does not work on cassettes larger than 36. I have 11-40 9v and does not work on 40. So the description is wrong. The delivery time was much longer than the estimated time. Basically double the time waiting for the piece.

I ordered SHIMANO ALTUS, but they send me SHIMANO DEORE. So I don't know hows the ALTUS. But the DEORE is good!
It's good but would been better if been aluminium as is bit heavy it works but not a smooth on the gears as my old one

I had read online that Shimano 9 speed MTB rear derailleurs share the same cable pull as Shimano 10 speed road shifters.Can confirm this is true - I have been able to ditch the "RoadLink" and short cage derailleur (which always had pretty flaky and unreliable shifting) and with this derailleur have now achieved perfect shifting with the ability to run much larger cassettes.The derailleur itself is pretty cheaply built - plastic and stamped aluminium.But for a cheap, knock-about 1x conversion for picnics and commuting, it's perfect.
